Hi! I'm sleeved 5 hours ago!
Hi guys! Well I got to the hospital , and soon as I got here ,I was rushed to get ready for surgery. They were 2 hours ahead of schedule. I didn't even wait 5 minutes after registration and they were putting in the IV. Any way surgery took 30 minutes, I slept 5 hours, and now I feel amazing! Cruised the hallways already , and ready to go home. But they won't let me. I am very starving , very very, but I can drink and eat tomorrow. My tummy besides feeling hungry, just feels like I did too many sit ups. Well that's all for now!

I could go home , but I live 4.5 hours away . On Tuesday I have to do the swallow test for leaks, then I get to go home. I can go to a hotel , but why waste money ya know . I paid for this bed might as well use it. Also they have a bed for my mom! Sweet deal. Oh and they gave me a stuffed bear for coughing. I'll try to post pics!

Hello, Im driving home now. ( moms driving)It's 11 am. Still feel great. Drinking 1 oz every 15 minutes. the hunger has subsided. I have slight very slight gas pressure , like I had said before , it feels like I did too many sit ups. I am on clear liquids for a week, them cream liquids, and the 3 week I'm On mushies. So far this has been a sweet surgery. I'm doing fantastic! Does not even feel like I had surgery. I am on morphine so I hope I'm making sense . And I hope this feeling continues. Post tomorrow y'all.

I am feeling amazing! The nurses and doctors say I'm the " Rock Star" of WLS this week! They are amazed at how good I'm doing, I'm cruising the hallways already ,have a mile done and chewing on lots of ice. Un hooking my IV's so I can go on my own. I hope this continues when I get home! My pain on 1-10 is .5 it only feels like I have to burp and it won't come out. The feeling sits right in my diaphragm area. I am very hungry yet. Well that's about it. I'll post tomorrow for pre op sleeves . So far I'm amazed! —NikkiRochelle
