WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER!

Success in Maintenance starts with good choices during the Honeymoon Phase!

Hi Roz,
Short week for me at work this week - Yeah!!  I'm off Thursday and Friday.
The Oopsie Coffee Crumb Cake I made yesterday was really good.  The recipe was more detailed than what I usually make - but so worth it!!

B:  Protein Decaf Coffee
S:  Decaf Coffee - 2 bites of the Oopsie Coffee Crumb Cake
S:  Lemon Tea Protein Drink
L:  Salad w/ deli ham & roast beef, cheese w/ rasp. vineg. dressing
S:  Lemon Tea Protein Drink
S:  Piece of Oopsie Coffee Crumb Cake - less glaze
D:  Chicken/Pork Sausage w/ Bell Peppers & onions
S:   Chocolate Truffle Protein Drink

Vitamins:  Done
Water/Fluids:  100 ozs
Miles:  None today

I need you to live closer so you can give me samples...LOL  DH is super picky and that has made me into a terrible cook. 

Your Dinner sounds wonderful...I love anything with peppers and onions.

 My goal is to post everyday this week.  I let myself get out of my good habits when my life fel apart.  No more excuses!  I'm better now, just lazy.

B:  2 protein coffees. 28 g
L:  6 inch subway sandwich 28 g
D:  chicken tikka masala. 25 g

Protein 81 g Carbs 64 g  I will try to eat 1/2 the bread and 1/2 the rice.  That's a start.

I'm the opposite of you.  When things are really good that's when I slip.  Stating M&M every day forces me to post every day and I need that or I might go wild on some days.

Isn't it amazing how easily Subway goes down.  You would think that all of the bread would get stuck.  That's usually the only time I treat myself with bread.

Watch all of the carbs......I know you are aware but that habit can creep up on you.

Roz, you are so right about the carbs.  I really overdid it yesterday.  I am having some problems with dense proteins again.  I can only eat 2-4 oz and then I get really full like its stuck and I start sweating and feeling poorly.  Doesn't happen with ground meat or carbs.  Hmmm.  Weird huh?  Any ideas on that one?  I'm guessing I'm not chewing well enough and eating too fast.  The newness has worn off of my pouch so the old habits are creeping back in.  Hopefully, now that I am more aware I can fix it.
