I was up all night again tossing and turning worrying about my job and the future. Stupid economy and the threat that government contractors will get laid off without warning... {sigh} I'm not fit to be around today. :(

I hope you guys have a better outlook than I do today. Whatcha got going?

You are in my thoughts. This is such a tough time. My brother-in-law works for a government defense contractor as well.

My daughter lost her job 16 months ago and had to move back home. She is 36 and never imagined she would be in this situation. It breaks my heart.

"They" were certainly screaming a few years ago about providing the required 60 day notice to those in danger of lay offs. Now it is not so expedient with Nov. right around the corner.

Today my soap box is in the closet.

Thanks for letting me know. There is a glitch that occurs between my computer and ObesityHelp. I don't have my display set to display the way you see it. It has been an issue for years. I hope this will be the only post.

Nope, it shows up that way for most of the posts...if you need a screen shot for OH to help, let me know and I will make one.

What I have to do is highlite what you wrote with my curser to see what is written underneath. But we typically get black highliting over ALL your text.

I spent hours with OH Tech support on 2 different days a couple years ago. They cannot figure out why this is happening. It has to be related to my assistive technology, I guess, or the accessibility settings I have to use. It only happens on this site.

Aw Gina, I wish you the best.

I got my dressings changed today and am cleared to massage 4 out of 6 of my incisions with Bio Oil. The gallbladder/appendix hole looked bad to me (I didn't look on Monday) but the same nurse said it had significantly improved and was looking good!! ;-)

Other than that just chilling out around the house with my parents who are visiting for another 10 days (they're out at the shops at the mo).

I understand. Went to a meeting yesterday that was just grim about cuts and where to take money. It's going to mean a reduction in service for clients which means a reduction in $$ for my business. And expenses don't stop in the meanwhile.

Going to ride Poppy, finish payroll and get some work done.

...I might add my daughter worked for a faith based company. Unbeknown to the employees, the company did not pay unemployment taxes, so when everyone was laid off, they were laid off and did not qualify for unemployment of any kind.

I hear ya about work worry! You need some worry dolls. Google and buy today!! Hope you don't think too much today. . .

My plan yesterday didn't fare well. I lost it and made some noise. I am disappointed in myself. I should have not taken the bait. Got lambasted for giving my opinion re a vendor. I let loose!!!!!! Sent out resumes last night. There has to be something out there for me. I shall find it!!!!
