Good Morning. Break is over--back on your heads!

Back to the office today after "working" from home for a week. The good thing is maybe I can control the grazing some. I really let it get away from me this past week. So, back on my head!

I hope everyone has a great week. Good luck to all our pre-ops this week. I'm kesa85's angel and I'll be posting as soon as I hear she's out of surgery and doing well. :)

Anybody else starting over this week?

Labs this morning for a few things, ride a pony, work, quilt.  Watch Olympics.  That's my day.  I was down again this morning so I am headed in the right direction.  Keeping on keeping on.

I'm working from michigan this week - but my house has pretty much NO food in it, so it will be tough to graza.

I did bring my Nectar grapefruit protein with me, went to the grocery store and bought a tub of Greek Yogurt and that will be my snack - maybe lunch if my daughter doesn't come to see me.

So my fridge has:  yogurt, diet coke and beer.  Oh, and leftovers from breakfast yesterday - guess I could eat those today except my built in microwave is sitting on the floor - not sure the cord will reach!

Good luck with the grazing Gina.  I do so much better at work and in my routine.

I am going to try to start running again today.  My leg hurt really bad last week, I think it was shin splints.  I could hardly walk a couple of days, but it feels much better today.  I need to get back at it because I have a 5K this Saturday morning I need to get ready for.  I guess if it starts hurting again I will have to go to the doctor.  I am thinking of joining the gym again so I can get my muscle built up some.  I know I lost lots of muscle mass because I did not do much exercise during the weight loss phase and can tell I don't have much strength.

Good luck to everyone having surgery this week!!

Please be careful and don't continue to injure your leg.  I loved running but hated what it did to my.

When I met with the personal trainer, she gave me a lot of stuff I can do here with just my exercise ball and 5# weights.  there are also lots of exercise videos at Sparkpeople using not much if any equipment.  You might not need to join a gym, just expand what you are doing.  Personally, I do better if I leave home but somedays I just don't want the extra drive time out of my day.

Thanks Price.  I am going to be easy on the leg.  I had these when I was in high school also.  I am planning on rejoining the gym so I can use the weight machines to build up the muscle strength in my legs again.

I have not ran since last Monday.  I told DH if it started hurting I would stop running, walk and call the doctor tomorrow.  I'm to old to want to mess up my knee or ankles too bad!!

I do better if I go somewhere too.  I have all kinds of things at home but just won't do them....

Planted 6 pear trees in an area rife with vines and tree roots .  Totally rejected bushwhacking the reeds and made 80 year ol;d FIL finsih the job.

I think I'm burning out on landscaping - just when I inconveniently have five huge pots to fill with trailers and annuals .  Make that six ..  And half a dozen more trees to plant ( make that a dozen OY , a BUNCHA climbing roses still , a buncha painting fences and fenceposts to do OY OY OY .

maybe I'll just HIDE until it all goes away .
