WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER!

It is the quiet after the storm this morning. About 3:00am the winds and rain were so bad that DH and I actually went to the opposite end of the house where there weren't any trees. It was worse and lasted longer than the day
we got hit bad. I'm glad the grandsons weren't here because our house would have been in panic mode.

We have a graduation party to attend later today. I hope they didn't lose their tent during the night. It is going to be a fun evening because this neighbor (also DD's contractor) puts on a great party wih fireworks and all. Other than my Saturday morning oatmeal, I'm going to eat light today and try really hard to make good choices tonight.

glad you made it through the storms unharmed.

going to head to the farmer's market for some grass fed beef early, then drive Chili and then watch the olympics. I've been watching this morning early. Of course, the riding is my favorite but I love all of it.

Hi Roz,
I'm late posting today.  I slept until 9am this morning and have been feeling behind now all day.  DGD#2 is spending the night and I picked her up around lunch today so been a very busy afternoon!!

Hope the storms have passed by y'all.  We have not had our thunderstorm today yet.
