I was 52 when I had surgery and my most frustrating jiggle was my turkey neck. It seemed to go away some the second year post-op but as I get older, it's baaack. {sigh} Sometimes I think if I could afford plastics it would be for a face and under-the-chin lift.

What was my deciding factor to have the tummy tuck was I was running through the airport one day trying to make my connection. Usually I wore spanx to keep everything tucked and together but that day I decided to just wear regular underwear. Well... my panni was just bouncing and flailing around and I decided then and there that I'd "had enough" of that! Luckily my insurance paid for most of it. With Mandy's post the other day about a Panniculectomy, it made me go find my before/after pics. WOW - and i didn't think I was all that bad, but what a difference between now and then!! I love my flat tummy!
Oh - guess what? I bought a BIKINI yesterday! Now I need to see if I actually have the nerve to wear it!! Bought it on sale from Macy's yesterday - the Coco Bay one where they have the tops by bra sizes!
I'll try to pop in when I can today, but going on a motorcycle ride and packing up some stuff to take to MI with me tomorrow. Be working from there next week helping my folks move. I will finally be staying in my new house! Taking a bed and coffee pot with me - what more do I need? LOL

No plastics in my future. I will just have to deal with it and hope that as I add muscle some of it isn't so bad any more.

My upper thighs and now my underarm fat as well

I had a tummy tuck and breast lift after I lost 100 lbs with the Band back in 2008. So the belly isn't really an issue, though I may have just a bit of extra skin that I may get taken off, we will see when I get to goal how it looks. But that is nothing like my huge hangy pannus that I used to have!
With my current weight loss my girls have seriously shrunk and I have to say, I miss my girls!!!!
I regret getting the breast lift; my PS made them too small from the get go and my 15-year-old now has a bigger chest than I do!!!!

As someone who had huge boobs for most of their life, I feel flat-chested now. . . .I NEVER thought I would ever feel self-conscious about my girls but now I do. I know it's mental, I am still a D though the more weight I lose, I am getting closer to a C. I haven't been in a C cup since 5th grade!!!!!!
When I had the breast lift I was wearing an F cup

Well, I definately have sympathy for you, I know how miserable I am about my girls

Guess I ought to count my blessings that they aren't smaller. . .than again, I still have 50+ lbs to lose

But yeah, I look like I have Shar Pei skin! I look fine in clothes but Lord Love a Duck, it looks bad when I am not. LOL

I do wear the sleeveless anyway. It's not the prettiest but oh well. It's been 105 degrees most days and so the jiggle jiggle jiggle, is giving some a giggle giggle giggle.
Wish I could afford plastics. If I could I would do arms and a tummy tuck. I think my two large children, in addition to my size contributed to the need for a tummy tuck. My last child was born 10 lbs 12 oz. He's 9 years old now and tall and skinny for his age.
In some ways the arms are a reminder to never go back there. But I would love to have them gone for good.
Just had a mamogram this week. The tech kept saying, "You are so small." talking about my girls, not about anything else. That is the first time this has happened to me. And yes, they are like deflated balloons. I don't think I would ever spend the $$$ on a boob job. It would be the last thing on my list simply because I can really camo those in a decent bra. No topless beaches for me I'm afraid.

I had an extended abdominalplasty with lipo and muscle tightening and a breast lift in June of last year. All self pay or I should say a gift from my mother to the tune of 15K. That price included a one night stay in the hospital and all my follow up. I'm extremely happy with my results with the exception of how my thighs look now. I've always had bigger legs. But post plastics my inner thighs are ridiculous!!! When my doc did the TT she said she would actually pull up the skin on the front of the thighs and a bit of the mons too by lifting and removing the panini. She was correct. But now I feel like any fat that was behind the skin on the front of my thighs relocated to my inner thighs. Im not just being vain. Lol. I have a terrible time finding pants now. Jeans are my favorite because they are usually darker and the denim is about the only thing that actually camouflages the inner rolls. My clothing size didn't change after plastics, if anything I've had to go a little larger to accommodate my ridiculous appendages!! Although if it weren't for the thighs I'd probably be down t least a size, maybe more because of my flat tummy. All that said, I would definitely do it again. I'm optimistic that with consistent exercise the thighs can get better. I know they'll never be perfect, but it would be nice not to HAVE to wear a skirted swimsuit/swim bottom.
