Just got the phone call from my surgeon's office and I am scheduled for September 12 RNY...I have been working toward this for a long time, so why do I have such mixed feelings about it? Totally unexpected!

I think we work so hard and plan so much, hoping this will finally be the answer. We put a lot of emotional energy into the process and when we are actually approved, it's like "really!!!". It just take a while to get used to the idea, that it is really going to happen. Congrats, it will be here soon.

I was called today by the surgeon's office and they had a cancellation for this Tuesday!! So it looks like I'll be sleeved a lot sooner than I thought! So many emotions...
