WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER!

Success in Maintenance starts with good choices during the Honeymoon Phase!

WOW......it's good to be back to work, it's good to be on a desk top computer instead of my IPad, and it's GREAT to be posting on the LW Board!!!!!

The ribs will be done Paleo style. Let's see if I can get the recipe to post....

Oven cooked pork spare ribs
• Serves 4
INGREDIENTS
• 2 racks pork spare ribs;
• 2 tbsp freshly ground black pepper;
• 1 tbsp ground oregano;
• 1 tbsp paprika;
• 2 tsp celery salt;
• ½ tsp cayenne pepper;
• Cooking fat;
PREPARATION
1 Preheat your oven to 250 F.
2 Combine the black pepper, oregano powder, paprika,
celery salt and cayenne pepper in a bowl.
3 Rub the ribs all over with some cooking fat and
then rub the spice mixture over.
4 Place on a foil lined baking sheet to roast for
about 3 hours, turning them over from time to
time.

 Hi Roz!  Glad you're back and feeling better.

Had the hungries today.  Been trying to fight them.  I ate my bagel earlier than normal.

Have a massage scheduled for tonight, then to the mall to return a dress that shrunk when I washed it and start packing for my trip.  Heading to Canada for a motorcycle trip then over to Michigan again for the week.  My folks will be moving and I need to help them.

B - coffee w/creamer
B2 - thin bagel with spray butter (after exercise)
S - cashews
L - 0% plain greek yogurt with 2 scoops of Fuzzy Navel protein powder (this is a real good way to make it) but I'm afraid it's not going to hold me for long
S - probably a protein bar
D - No idea

Vits:  yes
Water:  ok - need to do better when I get home
Miles:  30 minutes treadmill, 2% incline at 4mph and a few weights.

I like the greek yogurt with protein, esp fuzzy navel but I get hungry really soon after.  Even with fruit it doesn't hold me long.

Your trip sounds great.

I told the dietitian about you discovering Greek yogurt and Nectar Fuzzy Navel, she is going to have that at the August protein tasting and may try Caribbean Cooler and Greek yogurt as well. She was all kinds of excited about your discovery. :)
