Good Morning. One thing you're going to do today...
...that you didn't do yesterday to help make yourself successful? Can you name one?

Last night I sorted my vitamins for the week and adjusted my vitamins according to my latest labs. Some of my levels are coming in just a tad over the top of the range and I'll be cutting back. WOOT! Who would have ever thought a DSr could actually reduce the doses of vitamins they take?
I'll see my dietitian tomorrow and see if she agrees with my new plan and schedule.

I've already done one.
When I went camping I bought a quart of heavy cream for the fish chowder then forgot it when I went. So being thrifty (like a fool) not wanting to waste it, I have been adding some to my coffee and my evening shake. And watching the scale go up. When it hit 120 this morning I came in and poured the rest of the cream down the sink.
Next, back to weighing and measureing every bite. I started that yesterday (except for the cream) and will continue today. Something has to move the scale in the opposite direction.

I'm going to get off the blasted computer, and go run before it gets too hot! We were on the boat and traveling back from the party yesterday, so I walked about one mile, but need more exertion today.

First - way to go Gina - getting to reduce your vitamins!!!
I'm not going to eat Cherries all day today....should be fairly easy since I did not bring a single one to work with me. Oh my gosh - they were so good. I kept going back and getting more and more. Even put some more in my Chocolate Truffle Protein Drink last night and it was delicious. But, I had way too much of a good thing.

Linda, I can so relate. I dropped 2 pounds last week when I gave up eating cherries. I've recently gone off all grain/flour/sugar and took to eating cherries instead to get me through the carb withdrawals. DUH! Talk about sugar spikes. You're right, way too much of anything isn't great for us. So now I'm back to berries for my fruit.
Gina, for my one thing today, I'm going to email my bariatric surgeon. My COBRA insurance has my PPI costing me $150 because it's not generic. I'm going to email asking for a generic version.
I find that without my small snacks, I'm getting far more acid than when I keep something in my stomach to absorb the acid. I may have to add a protein shake in there to help with this.
Have a fun day everyone!

I didn't have my protein coffee yesterday - nor today, BUT - I added Nectar fuzzy navel to my greek yogurt and WOW was that good!! May have found me a new way to eat it!
I need to do vitamins tonight. I took the last in my pod. I now just throw a bunch in my various pods and take what I need each day. It seems to be working for me.
Good for you for your vits! I still need to get my labs done...
