x-post, family picnic and our food needs

And that's pretty much it for me too - if the burgers hadn't been blackened and tossed in sauerkraut, I probably would have had one.  If the chips had been fritos or lays, I probably would have had a couple.  That's why I say I'm free-range.

But what was there... nope.  Not gonna happen!  Overall, I eat carefully but close to normally.  Ok, edited to say maybe not "normally" but closer to "typically."

 Rebecca, this is a great public service announcement reminding us to not expect our needs to be met by others.

Thanks so much for posting this, Rebecca! Good thing you were prepared. I always have what my DH calls my "food bag" in my purse... it's come in handy quite a few times. I need to restock for this weekend - we have a family party and I'm not sure what will be on the menu.
