How were your iron markers last time? Hemoglobin, hematocrit, iron serum and ferritin. Other things causing hair issues could be protein or thyroid.

 IRON!!!  in  a form we can absorb( anything but elemental iron ) PLEASE try Chinese   hair vitamins ... they make RIDICULOUS  amounts of hair EVERYWHERE .

I have  MASSIVE curly soft hair (my husband cant STOP petting  UGGH )down to my WAIST   ost op ...... hair is SOOO  easy 2 grow !!!! 

 please eat some broccoli , brussels sprouts  etc....  homegrown calcium is the KEY !!!!

is there a particular brand of these chinese hair vits you use? loss of hair is one of my biggest concerns with this surgery. Would it be wise to start taking these vits prior to the surgery? Thanks for your suggestions!

S:  Watermelon/cantaloupe/cherries - maybe some of all

S:  Chocolate Truffle Protein Drink w/ cherries cut up in it - this was yummy last night!!

I'm steadily loosing but struggling with the fact that my NUT says no more than 800 calories up to 6 mos out.  I'm trying to get in 100 grams of protien a day.  But thats very hard to do and stay within 800 cals.  I usually have 800-1000 cals a day.

Protien Coffee  20 Grams
Orange Crystal Light w/Unjury protien (unflavored) 1/2 scoop 10 grams
soy beans  9 grams
1/2 cup cottage cheese 13 grams
Orange crystal Light w/Unjury protien (unflavored) 1 scoop  20 grams
3 pieces of Matador beef jerky  6 grams
Protien Coffee 20 Grams
Spagetti squash w/spagetti sauce ?? guessing 15-20 grams 

Up til now I have not been hungry but the past couple of days I have been hungry.....Shouldn't 100 grams of protien keep my hunger at bay?
