 Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!    Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!    

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER!

Success in Maintenance starts with good choices during the Honeymoon Phase!

Happy Sunday!  Our 12 yr. old Grandaughter is singing at a local church this morning so most of our family will be attending there. Theater and singing are her passion is singing and she sounds amazing. I'm hoping I can video her on my IPad so I can listen to her later.

I was up again this week so it is time to get serious again.

I'm going to drive Poppy and pony Chili today then this afternoon hit the gym. Weights and machines then Zumba.

decaf protein coffee 33g
muffins
lemon tea 12
chorizo (mexican sausage) spinach, bean soup
caribean cooler 12
green bean/tomato casserole, feta cheese
steak, sliced tomatoes, cucumbers
protein shake

No receipe but this is what I did.
2 links Veggie Chorizo, sliced very thin
1 can pinto beans, 1 can great northern beans
1 onion chopped, 3 stalks celery sliced thin
1 c TVP sausage flavored
at least 1 qt chicken broth then I ended up adding some boullion cubes and more water as it cooked
1 pk (large bag) frozen chopped spinach

You could use regular chorizo and pork sausage but it would have more fat.  Really easy, good and healthy

texturized vegetable protein, basically soy beans that have been made into something that cookes up like sausage crumbles.  It's dried and rehydrates when you add it to soup, tomato sauce or something like that.  There is a big 7th day adventist community here and they use a lot of fake meat.  It comes in varous flavors or plain and that picks up the flavor of whatever you add it to.  I'm not very high on the plain but I like the sausage and beef added to soup kind of stuff.  I haven't tried the chicken.  Bariatric foodie has information on it and she uses it a lot.

 3 organic coffees w isopure ( three scoops) 

jewelry industry brunch- 1/2 sesame bagel w smoked salmon , fat free cream cheese and organic homegrown scallions I donated 

champagne mimosa  ( organic  kosher champagne , organic fresh squeezed orange and lime juice s)

I'm not sure what Roz 's "bad carbs" are ... but I sure hope I don't LIVE  on em lol .

for the record -  I DONT  think my health promoting vegetarian eating ways are causing weight gain .... au contraire ....

I think they are giving me GREAT energy , rude great health and vitamin stores ... taut skin,  masses of hair ....JUST    my crazy body    STILL wants to be 200 plus lbs ... .

I SUPPOSE  I should be glad to be "just " the weight I am .... ( mind U I HAVE my gallbladder and ALL  my organs INTACT  lol ) 

my question for U is -  do U think I can carry this to the NEXT level ?  TRUE thinness  WITH HEALTH ? how about long term health n beauty n life expectancy ?   I want MORE Grrlz ...don't U want MORE  ?!!! 

can we strive together for HIGHER goalz ?!!

 LOL...you probably don't eat any " bad carbs".  You have a very unique appetite....most of us have a problem with white bread, potatoes, pasta, potato chips, cookies, cake, etc. 

Did you have a problem with any bad junk foods before WLS?  Did you do organic or did you start that after surgery?

honestly I never liked junk food .   I DID   like to puke  after mealz  thogh    ( and thats a powerful addiction all to ITSELF ...  please trust me on this )

in all fairness , my first modeling agency ( at 13 !)  TAUGHT me how to puke ..oy vey ... but continuing it  is and was my responsibility .

I CANT BELIEVE   WLS finally allowed me to STOP !!! 

i am RIDICULOUSLY   grateful 4 that ...    I was TOTALLY out of control ..like FOREVER .


I see peopleon TVwith chipmunk cheeks now and I say ...  I've BEEN there .....

now i need to lose the two plus inches of fat around my waist ...
