Thanks for the good wishes, everyone! I'm seeing my surgeon today, working tomorrow and Wednesday and have my surgery scheduled for 7:30am on Thursday. I've spent the weekend getting all my ducks in a row, making sure I have everything in the house that I think I'll need when I get home from the hospital and getting food in the house for the kids that will last until I'm able to drive and go grocery shopping.

My sister is flying out to stay with me for a few days after surgery and my good friend is taking me to the hospital, staying with me the day of, going back to my house to stay with my kids overnight (I'm a single mom), coming back to the hospital to spend the next day with me and spending that night with me at home, in case I need anything my kids can't do for me. I am so thankful for such a great friend and for my wonderful sister!

Going to the grocery store and Costco while on the liquid diet has been HARD! Especially Costco with all of the samples. It about killed me, but I stayed strong, didn't even consider having one.

What does swinging lizards mean??
