Yes , the eating and portions , everything it's overwhelming . I am really counting on what the LW's are saying and trying not to worry about my eating right now , just aware when I eat that it is going to be different after surgery . Since my post and their advice I have let go of the worry and I have felt much better. So thanks everyone !
No you won't. FAIL that is.
After your surgery, you won't be hungry all the time. Right now you are hungry all the time because your appetite control system is broken. Surgery will repair it and a lot of the hunger will be gone for good (some comes back but it's NORMAL hunger, not horrible ravishing hunger).
It's so much easier to make good choices when you aren't starving all the time. You have no idea... just you wait and see. It's going to be wonderful!
