Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!    Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER!

Success in Maintenance starts with good choices during the Honeymoon Period!

IT'S FRIDAY!!!!!   I decided to take my walk right after I got to work before we got busy and it was so hot already that I cut it short and decided to postpone it until this evening.

My DH and DD's had a surprise family birthday party for me last night.  We usually wait until the weekend but DD#1 is leaving for vacation in VA Beach this afternoon.  They all went together and got me an IPad.  That is a very expensive gift and I just can't see me using it much.  I know I am being very ungrateful but I would have preferred a TV for my kitchen or even new mulch in my rose garden.  Personally I think DH wanted it.  He is obsessed with pictures and he loves to look at DD's pictures that she takes on hers.
They all tell me that I'm going to love it.

Enjoy the IPad Roz, it's like a microwave, you can live with out it but when you have it its nice. I find it helpful because you can have it in your kitchen and instead of going to the computer room I've got any question I need answered at my figer tips. Bigger than a smart phone but smaller than a computer. So it's handy.

I'm with gina, I don't want another toy.

Hi everyone!!!  Just checking out the menu post.  i have a couple questions.. I know after my surgery  (MONDAY!!!) I'll be living off of protein shakes... But I notice some of you are still drinking several throughout your days?   Or are you just posting your protein? How far out are you ladies?  Also, I've noticed not many of you  are not eating veggies or just a small amount.. again are you just posting your protein???

This forum is the best!!! I don't know what I'd do without it.

Thank you!!
Just had my RNY on 7.2.12!!!!  WOOHOO!!!!!
