Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!    Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER!

Success in Maintenance starts with good choices during the Honeymoon Period!

Had a great weekend.  DGD did a wonderful job at her dance recital and was so darn cute!  DH said Saturday was wonderful...very relaxing and I only yelled at him 2 times.  I don't know what he's talking about but I think I must have to work on it if he is keeping track.

5 Guys Restaurant is NOT Weight Loss friendly.  A regular hamburger is a double and a mini one is a single and let's not even talk about the fresh cut fries.  I ended up eating 1/2 of a grilled cheese and 6 fries.

Lunch:   Small Wendy's Chili

Hi Roz,
I'm pretty sure DH keeps up with how many times I yell at him too!!  I've done our bills for 34 years now and since he retired he wants to get all up in them.  Saturday he told me he wants to sit down and talk about some things he thinks we can do differently.  He asked me when I wanted to do it and I told him "Never!!"  This morning he said that we never talked about the bills yesterday - I told him "I know"....  Now he is retired I've only got 2 years left, we really don't have that many bills.  He opens the bank statements up now and looks through them and questions things.  It is so aggravating.  I told him we could separate our accounts and he keeps saying he is not going to do that.   Oh well enough of that - I'm rambling.  Here is what I'm eating.

B:  Protein Decaf Coffee
S:  Decaf Coffee
S:  Lemon Tea Protein Drink
L:  Baked Spaghetti - made with spaghetti squash instead of noodles
S:  Lemon Tea Protein Drink
Pre-Run:  1/2 graham cracker w/ reduced sugar peanut butter
D:  Chef Salad w/ lite rasp. vineg dressing
S:  Chocolate Truffle Protein Drink

Vitamins:  Done
Water/Fluids:  120 ozs
Miles:  3 miles - ran 2 walked 1

I've always done the bills too and my DH wants and wants!  I've always tried my best to get him everything he needs "wants" but money has been tight lately and he just doesn't get it.  With gas prices, high utilities etc. I'm having trouble keeping up.  Things will get better when DD and family moves.  I think the utilities will come down a lot and I know the grocery bill will.  Even the amount of toliet paper  and laundry soap we go through is crazy!  Enough of my rambling too...LOL

Sounds Great Linda!

Isn't it funny that after all these years, they still don't get it. DH has no clue about our money and thank goodness he doesn't want to. We do have our own accounts.

Drove Poppy this morning and have been busy on paperwork. Plan on walking with the dogs this afternoon after it cools off some.

decaf protein coffee 33g
eggbeaters, cheese, tomato 15g
caribean cooler 12g
chicken salad 22g
lemon tea 12g
white chicken chili 22g
lamb, salad 28g
protein shake 33g

totals
calories 1253
carbs 45
protein 175

I've decided to make my protein drinks in the middle of the day 1/2 scoops so I can have one in the morning and one in the afternoon. I use a crystal light with them so they still have plenty of flavor. I'm getting over 150g of protein anyway so I don't need the extra protein or calories from 2 drinks.

My DH doesn't have a clue and I wish I would have let him take over the fianances from the beginning but it's way to late now.

It's pretty chilly her today.

Sounds Good!
