Eliiza, you may need to add a second dose each day of your PPI....Sometimes, one pill a day just isn't enough post-op because of the malabsorption.

Thanks for the suggestion. My doc already tried that - I have been on twice the max dose of all the PPIs I've tried - this has been my dose for years, even before surgery. The Protonix may be doing better - I'll give it another month.
