Hello to all of our Lightweights!!! If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!! Besides my tool, I count Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER!

DGD #3 has her dance recital today. She is in 4 performances so it's going to be a looooong
day. It's amazing how we can watch cheerleading 12 hours a day for a whole weekend but are dreading 1 long afternoon of dance. Maybe because we have to sit and be quiet....LOL I'm sneaking some good snacks in because last year all they had was chips during intermission.

Success in Maintenance starts with good choices during the Honeymoon Period!

Let us know how 5-Guys goes. Good luck to you guys and your DGD at the dance recital today. I guess we went through the same kind of thing with our boys: T-ball, wrestling, ankle-biter football and karate. I think we had to be quite during karate practice and that was no fun. lol

We decided to do 5 Guys after the recital if they aren't closed. We got gift cards from there over a year ago but we never go that way. I'm guessing I'll have to eat a burger with no bun and try my best to avoid the fries.

Everyone use to tell DH they were sorry for him because he didn't have any boys and he told them he had the best of both worlds. Beautiful DD's who cheered for all of the boys sports so he got to go to all of them. I don't think I'd like karate. I know I hated go to wrestling too. It probably would be different if your son was wrestling though. I think the worse thing was all of the orchestra concerts. DH still reminds D#1 how torterous it was and she still owes him....LOL

I need a nap today.  I figure it is too late for one now though because I probably wouldn't sleep tonight.  I had to go to a baby shower this afternoon.

Hi Roz!  Oooo - the last time I ate 5-guys it wasn't good... thought I could eat a bun - and that was 2 years ago... haven't touched one since, AND I was on my motorcycle...

I remember those band concerts - actually I enjoyed my sons immensely when he was in the jazz band - but we had to listen to all the others too.  I remember when I was in band - it was painful for me AND my parents!  Of course there was football.. etc - but that was ok.
