WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER!

It is beautiful here too. I did my 5K this morning-didn't know if I would make it or not. I didn't feel good when I got up and I think it is because I did not have my protein drink last night. So I got up this morning and had lots of fluids and made it.

Thanks Roz, You could do it. I walked the first few I did and then jogged/walked a few and I ran almost all of this one I only walked 2 of the hills in mile 3.
I would recommend starting with a larger one that way there are more walkers. This was a very small one with only about 40 people in it and most were runners. It is a lot of fun and really gets your adrelanine(?) going!!

We are having a beautiful day here too, but hot. I rode Poppy this morning and went to the farmer's market. I bought some lamb stew meat for kabobs or something. Any ideas are welcome. I won't have it when DS is here so it will be next week sometime. The same dealer also has grass fed beef so I will have to try that also. He didn't have anything but ground beef today and I didn't end up getting any of that.

DH and I have been talking about getting a 1/2 of a cow. I'll have to ask if they are grass fed but I am assuming they are. We used to buy one every year when the kids were little. It is definitely cheaper that way and convenient not having to go the butcher's for meat.
