Hello to all of our Lightweights!!! If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!! Besides my tool, I count Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER!

WOW...Just took my morning walk and it is miserable out! I'm glad I work in an air conditioned office. My DH works outside all day...I feel so bad for him! I checked on my Mom this morning and she didn't have the air on. I'll have to check with her during my lunch to make sure she turned it on.

Im doing good.
Ran out of protein powder again (poor planning on my part) and just have been too busy to head to rite aide to pick it up, will go this evening. thought it as funny, cuz im shaky again...Who would have thought.
Anyway

Hmm, when I write it down I guess Im not doing as well as I would ahve thought....

 Stacey - you getting "shaky" when you don't have your protein drinks could be a sugar issue.  Your protein drinks may be keeping you stable - and when you don't have them, the other food you're eating could be affecting you.

Do you have a glucose test kit?  You may want to pick one up and check next time you get shaky and see if that's it.

Jody, I do believe you are correct on this. I do have a test kit but no strips.
I think it is odd that I HAVE to "have" my protein drinks to keep me stable. have you ever heard of this?

 No - I haven't heard of it before, but on the Lightweight FB page Eli Pugliese (in Isreal) says that she has severe sugar issues and she found some protein shots there that have stabilized her...

So you never know....

Are you still working at Starbucks?  They have protein there, right?

Stacy, I have been having shaky spells too and it always seems to be around when I am craving my Lemon Tea.  I had a really bad one when we were in Disney.  I was sweating so bad that I got the chills. I don't know if the protein has anything to do with it but since I can't just grab anything to eat I always have a protein drink and the shakes go away.

What kind do you buy at Rite Aid?  I finally ordered mine last night.  I need to quick putting it off.
