That's really nice that you get to see your Parents so often. I wouldn't be able to resist homemade pie. That's something that we never have.

I just posted this and realized I put it on yesterdays post so am reposting here.
Just found this thread. I think I could benefit from visiting with you all.
First of all, I have to find out about this lemon tea protein with 23 g protein. It must taste OK if some of you are drinking it several times a day. Will get on the net and search it out.
I had surgery about 9 months ago. I am down 61.5 lbs, and have lost 46.5 inches. I have gone from a size 20-22 to an 8-10 in most clothes. Feeling pretty good. But at my height of 5'3" I am still in the "overweight" category by my BMI! It's close, but still overweight. I have hit the DREADED PLATEAU....with NO weight loss for 6 weeks!
Yesterday, eating was not as good, but was OK
B: Fage yogurt 12 g
Swiss cheese 1 oz = 9 g
S: Smokehouse almonds 1 ounce 3g
swiss cheese 1 oz 9 g
L:Lean Turkey Burger 21g
Colby jack cheese .75 ounce 4g
S: Doritos 1 oz 2g (bad choice here....at a picnic)
D: Lean Turkey Burger 21g
S: Swiss cheese 1 oz 9g
Totals 1240 calories Protein 85 Carbs 44 I target 80 to 100 grams of protein (never have hit 100)
Exercise:
Walking 20 minutes
Singing on worship team 1 hour (not a typical exercise, but standing and singing does burn some calories....and I'll take what I can fit into my busy schedule) :)
My doctor wants me on 1000 to 1200 calories a day cause I have a vitamin B1 deficiency and still am losing tons of hair (the two are not related). I take biotin, magnesium, 2 multivits, zinc, vitamin D, Calcium, docusate sodium, Zyrtec, Zantac prn, I think I'm missing a few. I have tried to have some low and some high days hoping that would shock my system into shaking this plateau! But to no avail....I am still stuck.
Any advice you all have would be great. I would like to hit a goal of 130-140 actually my goal is to be size 6! and I think that is do able. I don't really care if I'm 150 and a size 6 or 130 and a size 6!

I just realized that you had a VSG. Maybe calories and vitamins are different for you than what I posted. Ask some of our VSG people. This is the best support group you will find on OH.

Hi all...just found you and very happy that I did. My eating is getting better...I'm not getting sick as easily as I was so now I'm more willing to try things :)
My day:
B: greek yogurt with blueberries
S: cappucino protein drink
L: mozz sticks from the bariatric foodie website
S: broccoli and dip
D: Fake jambalaya
I have actually gotten more liquid in today than I have in weeks...I was starting to wonder if there was something wrong because I was having trouble keeping everything down...then suddenly things got better :)
