Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!    Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER!


The weekend is coming!!  Are you planning something special for Father's Day?  My DD's want to go to a place called Bear Town Rocks.  It has HUGE rocks that you can climb on.  They have fun memories of going there when they were younger and want their little ones to experience it.  I might actually be able to climb instead of being a spectator.   If I can..I will definately have a picture to post!  If not then I will enjoy being with my family and listening to all of the laughter.

I'm looking forward to a nice weekend.  My niece is the lead in an outdoor productio of The Music Man this weekend.  If it is nice, we'll go today. 

I had a pretty good workout today - minor RH, but ate between the strength training and cardio,  and was just a little sluggish.  I used up my "birdseed" bread, and just had oatmeal bread, so that may have been part of the problem.

Breakfast:  1 scoop Isopure, 1 cup skim Lactaid, 1/2 slice home-made oatmeal bread, 1 tsp Smart Balance Light  (34 Protein, 270 calories)

AM Snack:  the Simply Bar protein bar  (16 Protein, 160 calories)

Lunch:  2 slices Kraft Reduced fat Swiss cheese, 2 oz Oscar Meyer Roast Beef (24 Protein, 210 calories)

Afternoon Snack:  TBD - most likely some leftovers from last night's dinner.

Dinner:  TBD

Evening Snack - none

Totals:  TBD

Exercise:  35 min cardio (400 cal) then 30 min strength training (arms) with the trainer

It's cool and overcast here and I had a great drive with Chili earlier. Need to take my watches to a jewlery to get batteries changed. Maybe a walk with the dogs this afternoon.

Hi Roz,
I was off yesterday and did not post - I should have because I guess by not posting I gave myself a free pass to eat any and everything I could find that I should not have had.  DH bought some Ruffles yesterday and ofcourse I was into them last night.  I told him this morning if he just had to have them he was going to have to hide them and keep them out of my sight because evidently I have some kind of crazy addiction to them and can't control myself...

Back on track today.

Hi Linda

Your story about the Ruffles brought back memories - even when I was obese, my son had to hide the Halloween, Christmas and Easter candy, or there would be a lot less.....

And I have finished the bag of butterscotch morsels that was in the kitchen, so I should do a lot better!!!
