...and I haven't even gotten ready for work yet. lol  I have a "free range raised" (for lack of a better term) pork shoulder just about ready to go in the crock pot for the day. The smell is going to be awesome when I come home for lunch and the dogs will be out of their heads wanting to taste.  Poor babies.

The BBQ sauce will be homemade North Carolina style and I'll pull the tender meat off the bone and mix them together. Ahhh...   You guys that get all upset about fat and grease, this meat is not fatty at all and the whole meal will be low carb. Jody, you should swing by after work and have some.

What are you planning for dinner, or a special meal this week?

I don't know what I'm having, but I wi**** was what you're having.  That sounds really good.  I have some great ribs from Whole Foods in my freezer.  I may just have to thaw those.  I have left over BBQ sauce in the freezer too.  Maybe that's what we'll have.....

Have a great day.

Part of not having to leave the house for work is not having to decide what to have for supper quite yet.
But when I got home last night, I eyed in the frig what I was having for lunch.  DH didn't eat all the yummy chicken salad and I bet there is still broccali salad leftover too.
No special anything planned except I am freezing blueberries like crazy and need to pick more today.  I need to make something with them but haven't decided what.  I'll do pancakes over the weekend but I have way more than that.

Price,
We are picking blueberries also.  We only have 3 bushes left and they are loaded right now.

I have them out on my counter and I'm just eating them plain now.  If you have any good ideas for them I would love to hear them.

I thought about making a blueberry cobbler with my Carbquick as the crust, but will have to wait until the weekend for that.

i made a flax muffin with them this morning but it wasn't to die for.  I have been eating them with cottage cheese and vanilla SF syurp.  I make pancakes with them on the weekend and make blueberry syurp to go on them.  DH keeps talking about jam but I haven't tried that yet.  I like having them in the freezer to use over the winter so I will keep that up to some extent.

I haven't ordered carbquick yet.  I guess i need to.  I used to have some Adkins baking mix that I thought was pretty awful.  I guess I am expecting carbquick to be the same.

I tried to Atkins and like Carbquick better.  It does have a slightly bitter taste to it, but I got used to it and actually like it now.  It has so many less carbs than regular flour.

I never used to pick the blueberries because I didn't like them.  I'm loving them this year - my taste has changed so much since WLS!!

What time is dinner, Gina? I'll be there. I bet leftovers are wonderful, too.

I wish I lived closer - I'd be having dinner at your house!

I haven't decided today what is for dinner. I will be studying all day for midterm tomorrow. Ugh.

Hmmm... sounds tempting!!  What time?  My dinner was/is leftovers...  I put some in the freezer last night, but still have some from going out to dinner a few nights ago left.

I'm leaving on a motorcycle trip tomorrow about noon - need to pack yet, go to the grocery store and get the house cleaned up.  Having an "inspection" on my house in the morning  - guess it's a quarterly thing to make sure I haven't knocked any holes in the walls or something.. I just need to pick up and sweep.  I did a pretty good cleaning last weekend.

I cooked up that hamburg last night and put it in the freezer.  I figured it wouldn't be any good by the time I got back Monday night.  I plan on making taco meat with it, unless I think of something else in the meantime.

I should have read this earlier - if I left right now, I bet you would be in the bed by the time I got there-LOL!!  It sounds delicious.

We usually grill hamburgers and hot dogs for Fathers Day at our house and have our family and DH's family over.  DH doesn't want to do that this year so I'm cooking a ham, deviled eggs, green beans and haven't decided on the rest of it yet....  I might make Baked Cheese & Cauliflower I thought it was good, but not sure if everyone else would like it.  DD, DGD#2 and I are leaving  after lunch to go to my parents house so I dont' want to leave a lot of food DH won't eat.
