Good Morning. I actually sushed a General

...He's a retired General but still. Holy crap, Batman!  I was leading an online meeting with about 6 states participating and the microphone on my lap top picks up all the noise in my area...well, he came into the area talking to one of the guys near me and I did one of these time out signals at him.    Needless to say my life flashed before my eyes when I realized who I'd just hushed.  You just don't do that!  Later, he apologized and I apologized and we're good....I think. That should have been enough fear and adrenalin to show on the scale this morning, right? Umm...no. Rats!

I hope everyone has a great Saturday. What's on your list today?

It sounds like you came out unscathed... yea - I've noticed retired Generals still think they deserve all the hoopla, bells and whistles they enjoyed while on active duty.  To me retired is retired and they're just another person like you and me - but I know they don't always see it that way.

He seems like a decent person if he apologized - so the stars are all aligned again (pun intended - lol)

Not sure what I'm doing today.  I was up late last night and got up early today.  The bug guy just came and sprayed.  Need to color my hair (which is usually a weekend job), get a mani/pedi, wanted to go to the farmers market - but probably not going to make it.  There's a festival in Fairfax - not sure if I want to deal with the traffic and crowds.

There's a band playing at a vineyard out by Leesburg that some folks I know are going to.  I may think about that - of course I'd have to hit the outlet mall first

So - in a nutshell, I don't know what I'm doing.  Lawn needs to be mowed too.. should do that before it gets too hot.

But eating is first on the list - need to find something.

I just called you out on the LW FB group. I need to get this check to you today. I thought I'd go to Bed, Bath and Beyond and use the transporter in the Beyond part...lol

For those trying to follow that, that's Trekie talk.

Yea - I just saw that.  I've been up and around for awhile already.

I'm not too worried about it.  You tanning tomorrow?  I wouldn't mind going back - you can give it to me then if you are.

I didnt know there was a lightweight facebook page?  I am not very good on facebood and dont use it often but lately I do check it occasionally, mainly to keep up with my nieces and see pictures of them -

One of my nieces just graduated high school and won a contest of people all over the world for performing violin - she got to perform at Carnegie Hall.

Having had to deal with my share of Generals. I totally get what you are saying, Gina...but he knew he was wrong and had the decency to apologize and not get wrapped up in his stars...it helped that you apologized too, LOL.

Not much on my list today...gonna be a quiet one again.

If you're going to do something, there's no stopping halfway - a general is a good place to stop... How many stars on that general?

And I've always noticed that adrenalin always increases weight - so after a calm weekend, perhaps you'll lose some :-)
