Replacement was 11-23, then back in hospital for a manipulation on 2-15 because it wasn't bending well.  I have about the same movement I did before surgery with the hope someday of less pain.  I am much more active but still in some pain.  So, better for sure but I am not one of those who loves my new knee quite yet.
Learning maintainance which certainly isn't as easy as it was when those pounds were just melting away.  I've gone back to daily logging and tracking and it works (as if that is a surprise).  We'll get this figured out together.

Hi Sheri!  Welcome back.  Maintenance is HARD...

Bloating is a daily thing for me and I haven't quite figured out why.  Even at almost 4 years out you'd think I'd have this maintenance thing down.. but it seems to keep changing up on me!

 Sheri...

I just came back myself.  I see a lot of us in (maintenance) struggling.  This board was there for me when I was loosing and I feel like it was a huge part of my success.  I know this is why I came back.  It's easy to go back to our old ways.  What is cool, is that we have this support system that we know is sooo successful.   So we are in this together!!!  Right guys?

The greatest use of life is to spend it for something that will outlast it.

Hi Fran.   I agree!  When my useless Nut had nothing to offer me, I know someone here would help me!  Always welcoming with great suggestions and of course it helps to now that we are not alone in this.     Support is a powerful thing!!!

I'm back, too....I haven't "surfed" for over a year and I can tell.  The boards helped me in my first year now to get back on track to life.  Still learning what puts me over the edge and that's the hardest part because it seems to be the smallest thing...

Thanks to everyone for all the support and ideas I've been reading about!

So Great to You!!!!

WOW...you are a busy lady!  For the longest time the board was practically all newbies and honeymooners but there are a lot more on mainteance now.  We all fight the same battle and it's a lot easier knowing that we aren't alone.

I have been decarbing and I was surprised how much my bloating has gone down.  I'm glad you will be going soon for your check-up.

Roz

God is walking with me every step of the way. Because of HIM this is possible!!
