I know, I know, it's been wayyyyy tooo long!  I have been swamped at work (i had to cover for someone who went 0ut on leave at the worst time possible).  Then I could not get into my account after numerous log in attempts.   Finally got my password to work, what a fiasco!  I have been reading the posts and about maintenance and  I too am finding it hard.   After my emergency surgery in Nov I got down to 132  I have since bounced back up to where I was before the surgery to 150.  My body seems to like it here, but i like it better at 140!

I do still exercise but not consistently due to my sc hedule at work but I try and I totally need to get back on track.  I am not eating bad but the snacking gets the worst of me especially at night.  I think I need to add in an additionally shake at night to curb that.

I have an appointment with a new nutritionist in a few weeks and I am looking forward to it! I am tying to get back on track, but I need to work schedule to cooperate as I have a gym at work and need to get it in while I am there.  So hopefully in the next couple of weeks that will happen.  Even at 150 I am maintaining a 107 lb loss.

The last couple of days I feel yucky, bloated and such,n ot sure what that is about, had a few mild issues that make me wonder if the whole intestine twisting thing is happening again but I see the surgeon in a few weeks and will see if he will send me for a CT.

I am doing awesome on my vits and protein, but need more water and less carbs!

I am catching up on posts.  Welcome to all members  and i have missed the rest of you!!

Sheri,
Welcome back!!  We missed you.

I hope you can catch a break at work so you can get to your work outs.  I sure hope it is not your intestine twisting.  Do you think it might be the carbs?  I added a protein drink in at night to help with my night time snacking and it has worked pretty good.

Good luck and be sure to let us know what the doctor tells you.

Thanks, Linda.  I am trying to get in a late afternoon protein drink.  But I just started that this week!  It seems to help.  I tend to eat  when i am stressed or bored and I used to keep a ton of snacks at my desk, like protin bars, nuts etc.  But I found I was eating then because they were there, not because i needed them!  then again at night after I put my son down and I actually get to sit for a bit before bed. I get bored so I start snacking!  It does not help that I hav a great room so the kitchen is always there!

In the end it is a juggling act on what works best for us!  But I sure did miss coming here. the avice and friendships have always been so welcoming!

Sheri

Glad to see your post - I missed you.  It will be great to have you around as we work through the maintenance struggles.

I'll be swinging lizards for your bloating/yucky issues  - I hope it's not your intestines.
