Menus and Miles Friday June 1st

Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!    Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER!

The first day of June and It's FRIDAY!!!!!  100% chance of rain today which is a bummer.  Not wearing capris to work today is also a bummer.  I was a little worried that my dress pants wouldn't zip (when does this worrying stop) but they fit perfectly.

I avoided all chips and sweets last night....YEAH!!  How did you all do?

Protein:  Matrix Mint Cookie  35g
Lunch:  
Snack:   1/4 cup Mixed Nuts (I measured them out today so I can't over do it)
Protein:  Syntrax Lemon Tea Protein 23g 
Snack:   2 Pizza Chips  (all meat and cheese) 
Dinner:   Baked Chicken and ?
Protein:  Syntrax Lemon Tea Protein 23g
Protein:  Syntrax Lemon Tea Protein 23g
Snack:   100 Calorie Popcorn  (Always list this but don't always have)

Protein from Drinks: 104g

Miles:  10 minute walk around the building complex if the rain stops long enough

that does sound like fun.  I used to enjoy Zumba before I had my knee replaced.  I'm going Sun for the first time since my new knee.

Great job yesterday!!!  I had my night time protein drink, brushed my teeth and then about 9:45 just went to bed....  That seems to work.
DH is trying to stop Smokeless Tobacco right now so he is in a foul mood and I noticed he got up and ate Sugar Free Chocolate chips last night sometime during the night!!  We have no ice cream, cake or chips at our house right now.  I guess he was desperate.

OH...you remimded me I have SF chips in the house...I had comletely forgot about them...LOL  My DD loves those.  At least he won't gain weight on the SF chips.  It's probably better not to have sweets in the house while he is dealing with this.  Good for HIM!!

Great job Roz!!!!! I added some wheat thins as a snack last night.
hoping it will dry our a bit tomorrow so we can pick some strawberries. Other than that a quiet weekend.

We used to pick ours but time and age keeps catching up on us so we go to th farmers market.  I got some really sweet ones at Walmart last week.

good for you, Roz.  I had a good day too.  Another one planned for today.  It has been rainy but I went to the gym/pool.  did my machines and added 2 leg machines then swam 16 laps, 4 more than last time.  I was thrilled.  the walking and swimming has helped my strenght.
