I said I was going to start back measuring and tracking, but have not done it yet. I need to find my calorie counter thing I bought because it was so easy to use.
I agree with Daisy, I don't want 5 to turn to 50 or even 1-2 to turn to 10-20.
I have to exercise now, if I don't and even if I eat really good protein forward meals, I can eat more now and the exercise just helps to balance it out.
Good luck - we can all do this together!! I would be lost without my support here.

I did say to a few aquaintances, this surgery is like my surgeon said to me, "I give to you this new body (In a handful of months), how long will it be before you ruin it"? And by that I mean, I am accountable to this new body every bit as much as my pre surgery bod.... I DON'T want to mess it up!
I wish everyone the very best in their efforts. And together we can help each other take positive perspectives and approaches to our weight issues.

I was such a slow loser and had to fight for every pound that came off so I had to really be aware of every bite. Myfitnesspal has been my friend since before surgery. It's always an eye opener to guess at my calories and to see them in writing and accurate. I've given myself a range of 141-143. Most days I'm right at 142.2 but I'm doing long hikes in the Redwoods to maintain that. When I get done, I'm close to tears from the steep hills to climb. Then I'm totally refreshed and delighted in what I just accomplished. Last week I hiked 35 miles and my weight stayed the same. Calories between 1000-1150 depending on whether I hiked 5.5 or 7.7 on that day.
What I've done in addition is to go to Weigh****chers once a week to weigh in. I think that really keeps me more honest because I have to do that. I truly need all the help I can to stay within my comfort range. Now if I could just shed the next five pounds I'd be so happy.
Here's to the future of us all!
