Price, I know just how you feel.  I was 128 Sunday and I hit it one day last week.  Not where I want to be.  It is so much harder to maintain.

I said I was going to start back measuring and tracking, but have not done it yet.  I need to find my calorie counter thing I bought because it was so easy to use.

I agree with Daisy, I don't want 5 to turn to 50 or even 1-2 to turn to 10-20.

I have to exercise now, if I don't and even if I eat really good protein forward meals, I can eat more now and the exercise just helps to balance it out.

Good luck - we can all do this together!!  I would be lost without my support here.

Hi Price and Thank you for posting on this subject!!  It just might be the eye opener I needed to read myself!!  I have been good at tracking my carbs and calories but I have slipped a bit here and there...I dont want to elude myself that the "Honeymoon Period" is a reality!!  Thanks for the kick in the butt and a reality check today!!!

I know exactly how you feel. I have been battling this for a few months now. Maintance phase is hard but worth it. I am wanting to get back to 114 hoping all the exercise coaching cheerleading will help....working that body!~
Nothing tastes as good as this feels!

Huge eye opener Price! Thank you for posting this. It reminds me I am not alone in my journey. I reached my all time low of 122 last summer, and then seemed to settle at 124# for a few months. Believe me, I am thrilled to be at the 125ish mark, but lately i am seeing 126 or even 127#! It's scary stuff and at 19 months out I am probably no longer mal absorbing. I need to recalculate too.

I did say to a few aquaintances, this surgery is like my surgeon said to me, "I give to you this new body (In a handful of months), how long will it be before you ruin it"? And by that I mean, I am accountable to this new body every bit as much as my pre surgery bod.... I DON'T want to mess it up!
I wish everyone the very best in their efforts. And together we can help each other take positive perspectives and approaches to our weight issues.

It's crazy how those numbers seem to creep up.  And crazy how easily they used to go back down but don't anymore.  We can do this, together.

I hope Cheering will be the extra boost you need.  Sure sounds like a fun way to do it.

I just want to throw my sympathy into the ring.  I think the Sleeve is a little different because we don't have the malabsorption in those first months, but the realities of maintenance are the same regardless.

I was such a slow loser and had to fight for every pound that came off so I had to really be aware of every bite.  Myfitnesspal has been my friend since before surgery.  It's always an eye opener to guess at my calories and to see them in writing and accurate.  I've given myself a range of 141-143.  Most days I'm right at 142.2 but I'm doing long hikes in the Redwoods to maintain that.  When I get done, I'm close to tears from the steep hills to climb.  Then I'm totally refreshed and delighted in what I just accomplished. Last week I hiked 35 miles and my weight stayed the same.  Calories between 1000-1150 depending on whether I hiked 5.5 or 7.7 on that day.

What I've done in addition is to go to Weigh****chers once a week to weigh in.  I think that really keeps me more honest because I have to do that.  I truly need all the help I can to stay within my comfort range.  Now if I could just shed the next five pounds I'd be so happy.

Here's to the future of us all!
