DH got the septic working again so the next step is digging up the year and trying to figure out why the tanks are filling up so quickly.  Last night he was actually thinking he might wait until DD and family move and see if it happens again.  They do a lot of clothes washing and showering.

Stayed up late a did the dishes and the house was clean and quiet when I left for work.  Wish I could have stayed home a little longer this morning and enjoyed it.

Good Menu!

Do y'all put anything in your septic tank?  We put Rid-X in ours.

I probably shouldn't say this, but DH has our Washer & Sink in the kitchen running way out into our woods behind our house.... We used to have lots of problems but that solved it.  I'm not sure you are suppose to do this, but it is just the water not the toilets or tubs.

We don't put anything in it and I asked DH about that last night.  How often do you put it in?  We have lived here for over 30 years without a problem but we've had to get it pumped out 3 times in the last couple of years.

DH has some pipes running out into the field but  he thinks it must have cracked and the water is running back into the tank.  A guy he works with is going to come and dig it up for us if we continue to have a problem after DD moves out.

He puts it in our toilets about once a month.

DD#1 goes for her sonar tomorrow afternoon.  She still doesn't have any preganancy symptoms so I don't know how things are going to turn out.

Roz, I'll be praying for her and the baby.  Hope everything goes ok.  Are you going with her?

Yes I'm going.  If it's good new I'll leave before the sonar is over but if it's bad news I'll be there for as long as she needs me.  The people at work are great when it comes to family.

One of my homes that supports 3 clients has a client who obsesses with toilet flushing.  They had to have their tank pumped.  Then they took the handle off her toilet and it hasn't happened again.  Rid-x is cheap and I would certainly try that but the problem may be too many people for one tank.  And maybe the washer water could be diverted like Linda said.
