Good Morning. It's a lie!

"New and improved" on my IDS MultiPro vanilla-cinnamon is a lie!    They've ruined it!  This is another public service announcement (PSA) advising you to read the labels on your protein supplements. Many are changing their ingredients which adds protein concentrate and other ingredients instead of whey protein isolate. This reduces the amount of available protein to us malabsorbers and increases the carbs per scoop. I understand the same has happened to Champion Nutrition and others. Be careful out there.

I'm using the vanilla/cinnamon SF syurp right now in my protein coffee.  Maybe you can find a plain vanilla and use the syurp.

I was busy, busy yesterday with hardly time to think but today should be better.  Cleaning lady is coming and it will be nice to have a clean house again.  I wi**** could be on a Mon so I could have it clean for a whole week before the guys mess it up again on the weekend.  Oh well, can't have everything.

I've noticed that as well.  In addition,many of the protein bars are using hydrolized collagen, which is an incomplete protein. For those of us who struggle with eating sufficient protein, we need to be especially vigilant. 

Another vote for sticking with About Time! No concentrate, just isolate. Of course, the price went up recently, but they do have 20% off with the code "lifestyle," which helps, and every couple months they do a "buy one, get one half off" on facebook, which helps even more.

They also have a cinnamon flavor... although I just stick with their chocolate and their birthday cake, and add cinnamon when I want that.

I wonder if they have updated the info on line.  When I order again, I will have to check that out.  I mostly use the Syntrax Nectar Cappuccino and Lemon Tea.  I'll be very very upset if they change those.  One of the reason I use them is for no carbs and no fat.

I read labels at the grocery store, but usually if it is something I buy on a regular basis I don't keep looking at it every time I buy it.  Guess I need to start doing that now since things are changing.

WOW...it's a good thing you check labels!  They had better not change my Lemon Tea because I will be furious if the do!

Can't believe theyre taking the whey out now that it has become popular ( and I'm guessing) is seen as more valuable than just a cheese by-product that ( before the advent of protein shakes and bars  ) usually ended up in the garbage ..

what is protein concentrate actually MADE  of ?   How is this not getting absorbed by malabsorbers ?
