I heard something but haven't tired it.  Bake fish at 250 for 20 min.  It is suppose to be cooked but still moist.  I usually cook salmon in the oven but talapia or sual in a pan.  You could also try pesto on the salmon.  that would help keep it moist.  I did that last time I cooked some.  It was very good.

One of those busy days around here.  Lots of work that had to be done and I still have payroll to do tonight.  But I did get Poppy driven when it was between showers. Need more fluid but I will be peeing all night if I drink any more.  Will have to catch up tomorrow.

decaf protein coffee  35g
egg, turkey bacon
steak, green beans
protein bar  15g
taco salad minus the shell from Taco Bell
protein shake  35

My lemon tea finally came and I was gone all afternoon and didn't get any.  Oh well, I'm glad it is here for tomorrow.

Price, I know what you mean about the drinking.  I try to stop by 8pm or I'm up all night too!!

Good Menu today.  I love my lemon tea and can't imagine not having it every day.

Hi,

Have you had WLS yet?  Sorry if I missed that post.  If so, what kind did you have.  If it was DS or RNY, you might need to add some more protein in just to keep the protein totals up some.

I use a blender bottle that you can buy from GNC for my Lemon Tea Protein Drinks.

Welcome and we look forward to your post in the future.

Linda

What are protein coffees and what are the best protein bars? I am cleared for all foods now and I'm trying to find good ways to get my protein in since I can't tolerate the shakes. I also can't have peanut butter!

Hi and welcome.

This is how I fix my protein coffee.  I use Syntrax Nectar Cappuccino Protein.

I fix my cup of coffee(decaf).  In a measuring cup I put my milk(I use Hood Calorie Countdown-less carbs) and a scoop of the protein.  Thoroughly mix.  If you don't use milk, you could just mix it in a little water so it becomes liquid.

Pour the milk/protein mixture into my coffee and stir.  Do not put the protein right into hot coffee, it will make lumps and clumps and be horrible.  You have to mix it first with a colder liquid and then pour it into your hot coffee.  You could reheat after you combine the two things together.

Others might fix theirs a little different, but this works for me.

I don't know much about protein bars - I tried one and like it way too much so I don't use them.

Have you tried different types of the protein shakes.  I love the Syntrax Nectar Lemon Tea mixed with about 20 ounces of water and a stick of crystal lite lemon tea then add ice - my favorite.

Vitalady.com sells samples of the different types of protein so you don't have to buy an entire tub to try them.  I bought samples and picked out the ones I liked.

I have Unjury (sample packs in every flavor, even unflavored), Syntrax Nectar in Carribean Cooler, Arbonne Essentials vegan protein powder and Wheybolic Extreme 60 (GNC). I can't tolerate ANY of them. It makes me sad because they taste SO good going down but my poor pouch just refuses to accept them. Needless to say, protein is a challenge for me...

Thank you for your response!!
