Soooo Cute! I love the name too!

I love kittens but DH is so alergic to them. He got me one when we were first married and ended up in the ER. We have had several outside cats but livingin the country they stray away and that hurts to bad so I finally had to quit being selfish and wanting one.

The only thing cuter than a kitten, is two kittens! Is she a tortoiseshell colour? My son just got a kitten (he lives an hour away at school, but comes home for weekends occasionally), whom I refer to as my grandkitten. He is so freakin cute, I just love him. I had to put down my 20 yo cat on April 30 unfortunately, but have two other lovelies. I think everyone should get to enjoy a new kitten every few years (of course to keep and love for life) and I'm ready for a new baby, but DH is balking. I'll probably get one anyway, lol.

She has very unusual coloring. If I had to guess I would say maybe a medium hair calico? Predominantly black with some orange, white and gray mixed in. I had a long hair calico I just loved but she didn't like being around kids and one day the screen door was left open and I never saw her again. Broke my heart. That is when I got JJ. I didn't want another cat after that.
Ruby is just adorable and she is really helping distract me from missing JJ. She is a little clown and has me laughing all the time.

I believe that a predominantly black calico is called tortoishell colored. I have a 4 year old long haired one called Lucy and she's quite a character,, but even OHIP won't pay for a wls for her! She is still full of beans at 20 lbs!

We call Lucy a clown too, and I'm sure you will get years of enjoyment out of your little Ruby!
