OT: Funniest Mother's Day Gift ever

My DD sent me a lovely bouquet of 2 dozen roses for Mother's Day.  My DH commented that they were kind of plain and that he could do much much better than that.  When I woke up on Mother's Day there was a huge bouquet of flowers on the kitchen table for me.  It was a funeral spray.   But I didn't say anything to him because I didn't want to hurt his feelings.  Well, last night I broke down and told him what they were.  He didn't believe me so he googled funeral arrangements and realized that yes, that was what he bought me for Mother's Day!  We both laughed so hard that we cried. 

I totally love my husbnd.  Life is never dull around him.

Made it an unforgettable Mother's Day!!!! I bet you about lost it when you saw them.

STILL CHUCKLING!!!  I don't know how you kept quite all day...LOL.   I think my DH would need one if he ever got me something like that!  Did he buy them at a flower shop....how stupid were they to sell it to him.

 He did buy them at the florist.  But they are in a plastic pot like you would put on a grave!  He asked that too.  They probably thought they were for his moms grave.  He said, but my mom isn't dead.  I pointed out that I'm not either!  I'm still laughing too!  

This is going to be a fond memory you will have for years to come. It's great that you can share a laugh. I probably would have told my DH that I expected flowers every month for the rest of my life to make up for this doozy.

LOL, this sounds like something that my DH would do...he comes up with some "doozies!" I would not trade him for anything and it is wonderful when we can sit back and laugh at and with each other!
