Good Morning. Why I don't mind walking in the rain

Ok, it's pouring this morning and I need to get motivated to walk today.

1. The sidewalk will not be crowded.
2. Air full of moister is good for my lungs.
3. The pollen count will be down too.
4. I can wear my Bogs again today.
5. I like my Bogs.
6. I can wear my light blue raincoat again today and I like my light blue raincoat. :)
7. Maybe people won't think I'm crazy but I'll motivate them as well.
8. Walking will get me away from my desk and ease my back.
9. Walking will keep my metabolism up.
10. The wildlife around the lake are still out and about when it rains and I like to watch the birds and bunnies.
11. When I walk I won't be grazing.

Ok, good to go. Y'all have a good one! :)

When I was a runner, many many years ago when I had 2 good knees and 2 good hips, I remember waking up, looking out and knowing I was going to run in the rain.  I would dread it while getting ready, oh poor me, have to run in the rain.  but once I got out there, it was wonderful.  Refreshing or cool, splashing on my face, feeling very vertuous and proud that I had done it.  You go girl.  I bet you look cute in your Bogs and blue raincoat.

The rain should hold off here until afternoon.  I have a lesson with Chili this morning then paperwork and broccali to put in the freezer.  It all started bolting at once.

I like to bike in the rain, myself.

But I never plan to go out if it's raining since it's somewhat dangerous. But when I get caught in the rain, I usually don't mind it.

Have fun in the rain..

It started here in the wee hours of Sat morning and finally stopped yesterday afternoon. We set a record at the airport...we had over 1.6 inches of rain in a 24 hour period...I was thinking webbed feet might help.

I like to hear the sound of the rain on the roof - is that a good reason to stay inside?  :)

Weather forecast is to clear up for awhile today - be very muggy then pm thunderstorms.

It's an even better sound on a metal roof...a long ago childhood memory which we now have cause our current roof is metal. :) One thing I LIKE about this house.

Your list sounds like a good motivator for walking in the rain-LOL!!  Maybe it will slack up some so you can get a walk in or if not, I bet you will be styling in your Bogs and Blue Raincoat.

Hope the rain holds off here until after I do my run this afternoon.  Haven't done any since last week -- slacked all weekend....

You make walking around a lake sound really nice.  I started walking around the cirlce of our ofice complex and my Manager warned me it wasn't safe to walk alone.  I felt safe until she mentioned that.  I don't have anyone to walk with.  The girls here are all smokers and they use their extra time for that.

I have to look up Bogs because I don't know what they are (guessing shoes)  but I bet you look cute in them. .LOL

Bogs are cute!  I don't think I've ever seen anyone wearing those in our area.
