Hello to all of our Lightweights!!! If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!! Besides my tool, I count Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!
WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER!
Well, I Have to be honest on here. I am really struggling with the scales and it scares the crap out of me! I took off the 5 pounds I gained on vacation but several of them have come back and I'm afraid they like their new home. I'm sure eating way to much Angel Food Cake on Mother's Day didn't help (it's gone now) but I've finally got to admit that my body has to be absorbing a lot more now and I'm going to have to work harder to keep it off. It was easy up until now.
I need to start posting on fitlick every day and I need to listen to my own warning that I post every day above!!!!

Roz, I know how you feel. When I got on the scales this morning I almost fell over. Still below my goal, but not where I want to be. I have got to stop the night time snacking. I can do great all day and blow it at night. Need to get back on the exercise again also, I've been slack on it since last week. I still have 1/4 Jello/Cool Whip Pie left, hopefully DH will fini**** off today. Chips are almost all gone - I atleast stayed out of them last night.
We can do this, just have to stick to the plan.

I always bounce between 3 pounds and last summer when we went on vacation I jumped to the next level and this year it happened again. Yes, I enjoyed my vacation but when I got back those 5 pounds came off right away so this has all kindof blind sided me and I don't understand. The scale has went back up the last few days and I don't like it!
I'm going to try to post my menus every day and keep track of my calories. I'm also going to try and remember to come back and update if I make changes. I've got to get a handle on this. A couple more pounds and I'll be in the overweight range again. How can that be when you wear a size 4? I wish I could aford to have all of this extra skin removed.

I do retain water but in the morning when I get weighed my ankles look pretty good. I think I used that excuse last summer...LOL This year I need to get at a lower number even with water weight.

I ordered 4 kinds(Cookie Dough, Peppermint Paddy, German Chocolate Cake and Toasted Marshmallow) and got them from:
http://www.davincigourmet.com/
I did have to pay shipping costs.
They also have some great recipes on their site, you just have to adjust to whatever type surgery you had.

I just stumbled upon this board. I am not a lightweight. I would like to join your Menus and Miles posts if you would allow me too. I am trying to let go of evil 'white' carbs.
