Thanks Gina.  Sounds like what most of us eat is what he recommends!!

I do think we need to exercise more, if for nothing else to help keep our heart and body healthier.

Good read.  I've downloaded a copy to keep.   What he says makes a lot of sense, on many levels.  I think I mildly disagree, though, on his lack of emphsis on exercise, though.  It has so many other benefits that are important besides just burning calories.

My grandmother had a book on nutrition from the mid 1800's.  It said exactly what this article said.    She lived to be 98 years old by following that advice.

So we need to go back to the basics.
