Hello to all of our Lightweights!!! If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!! Besides my tool, I count Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER!

It's Monday already. I'm down 1 more vacation pound this morning....1 more to go! I'm hoping I jump started myself and the pounds keep coming off. I've been making REALLY good choices and avoiding all sweets.

I've been on Maintenance for 2 1/2 years and doing great!!!

Hi Roz,
Great job on getting that vacation weight back off!!

If I had not had a meeting this morning and some other things I think I would have stayed home.  I felt so tired this morning(didn't go to bed on time last night)  I actually stopped and got some breakfast hoping it would help me feel better and it did.

Glad you found something to make you feel better. I'm going to have to force myself to go to bed earlier.  I also might have to quit drinking a Protein drink right before bed because sometimes I have to get up twice during the night to go to the bathroom and then I can't go back to sleep.

We got are little garden already for plants.  I'll probably plant in a couple of weeks.  It's still a little chilly in PA.  What's the best tomato to plant for sandwiches?

Depends on your area and whether you like high acid tomatoes or not.  Yellow ones have lower acid, red more.  I like the heirloom purple cherokee, it has a great smokey flavor, pretty high acid.  there is one called Health Kick that is higher in lupine and very taste.  Also what size you like.  I prefer a medium size tomato instead of the huge ones so I can use a whole one at once.
