OT - Home from the show
Got home last night, whooped for sure. But I had a great time. The weather was hot Fri and Sat but it was overcast until around noon yesterday for the marathon which kept the heat down. Chili and I were 4th after dressage, 3rd after cones and 1st after the marathon. The competition is a 3 phase cumlative score, like a triathalon so in the end, we won our class. Hurray. There is a pix someone else took on my Facebook of us going through the water hazard. I'll post pix if anyone sends me some.
To make this relavant, my food stuff was ok, not great. My weight held as of this morning which is good. It was hard to have to be in the carriage and get all the fluid in I needed but I tried really hard to stay hydrated in the heat. I had taken protein powders and all of my food, protein, protein, protein but camped next to my sleeve friend and they fed me most of the time. That was ok cause it was healthy. I didn't have to worry about exercise because I walked miles to learn the hazards and cones and back and forth to the barn and trailer. My knee and hip were yelling owie, owie but survived. I probably should have taken some pain pills for night but oh well. I really don't want to do those anymore. Anyway, I'm home and happy and maybe now can get to work on work stuff. Maybe not.

Congrats Price! 1st place...that's Awesome!!! I can't wait to see pictures!!
I gained 5 pounds on vacation but I've gotten 4 of them off (a pound a day). I've been really good since I got home.
I'm glad your knee and hip held out and you were able to fight through the pain without taking pain pills. Pain pills do crazy things to me.
