Good for you, Gail.

Isn't it amazing what foods are not good for someone altho they may work for others?

Nuts and protein bars are supposedly good foods but not for everyone.

The problem is eating too much. Even eating too much of a good thing can put weight on. I can eat those things, but need to consume them in moderation. Since soy nuts were becoming problematic, I have eliminated them for the time being. They are wonderful foods, just in moderation.

Lost:  1 lb.

My husband gave me the okay to go with 4 girlfriends to Hawaii (girlfriend has a condo on Kona) for 10 days.  I'm leaving this coming Friday so I won't be weighing in until after I return on the 21st.  First time I've ever gone on vacation and I'm not stressed about my diet.  I have a plan and I'm taking protein etc. with me and tennis shoes for exercise. 
Oh yeah, and most importantly my TOOL!!!

I'm still going in the right direction but I've fallen off the tracking wagon!

Now that I've said it out loud I can't deny it!  My goal this week is to track at least 5 'full' days!

Good for losing, sorry about the tracking. You know, it's hard for DS'er's to track anything beyond protein/carbs because traking calories is fairly meaningless for us.

Reached my top range for maintenance last week and have added a vegetable serving per day as my first step to maintenance mode. Every other time I either never made it to goal or thought I didn't have to remain vigilant to maintain my loss. Thanks to all of you and your advice I'm following a plan just as closely as I did to lose weight.
