Good Morning. Working from home is cool

So, here I sit in my PJs and bunny slippers working from home...after I finish this post. You gotta love technology sometimes.

The doc put me on 10 days of amoxilcillin to beat back this ear infection and it seems to be working. Feeling much better today--thank goodness.

What's your to-do list today? I know Mandy has another dilation of her pouch parts. Good luck, Mandy.

glad your ear is better.

I've got to finish packing and get out of here.  No internet or probably even phone connections at the farm where we are competing.  No real rush because it is only a little over an hour away and the show doesn't start until Fri evening.  I'll drive Chili there today and get the trailer/camper set up.

Ya'll have a good weekend, I'll touch base when I get home on Sunday night.

I used to wish I could work from home, but I finally decided I am not disciplined enough.

Work today and I need to get the board info packets finished for mailing tomorrow.  Hope to get a run in this afternoon.  I skipped yesterday because I got too hot Tuesday.

Hope you feel better Gina.

Good luck to Mandy...

Gina, sorry you have an earache...I hate those. Hope yours gets better quickly.

Yeap, working from home is neat but does take discipline, otherwise other stuff gets in the way.

I see my oral & maxiofacial surgeon this morning...I should find out exactly when these wires come off!!!

When my kids were little, and I was a single mom, I worked from home when they were sick.  Once I finished 3 years worth of budgets!  I just tweaked them each year before turning them in.  However, now that the Internet has entered my life, I could not work from home regularly.  I do occasionally when I have a big project.  Last Fall I rewrote our entire SOP.  It took 3 days with no interruptions.  My boss was thrilled with it.

We have a busy clinic today, so no admin for me today.  I'm glad u have some antibiotics.  You should be up and running in no time

When I was in Michigan I worked from home, and a couple weeks when I first got out here.  It definitely has its advantages!  And the PJ's is one of them.

I rode my motorcycle to work today - and let's just say, it was one of the more stressful rides I've had yet.  Several people turning in front of me (and I JUST had a lightbar installed on the front of the bike - so there's NO excuse they couldn't see me).. but - I find with bikes when I'm driving, its sometimes hard to tell how fast they're going and distance away since all you do see is lights, and not a hunk of metal.

So folks - you see lights coming at you and not sure how far away - take a few seconds more, look again and let them pass.... it may be the motorcycle that DOESN'T hit you!

Tonight is get my nails done and start packing for my vacation!  I'm leaving on Saturday for a week to West Palm Beach with some good girlfriends!  Just what I need, at the time I need.  I've been looking forward to this for a LONG time.  I probably won't be on the board, but may do some updates on FB with my phone.

Thanks, Gina !  My anesthesia friends hooked me up and this will probably be my last one !! YEAH :)  I plan to order pizza for the family for dinner and just take it easy and sleep and catch up on DVR.
