What does ur screen name mean?
A long time ago when I was a new Major, my son's were young and nicknamed me Major Mom after the TV show Major Dad. Even though I got another promotion after that, I like the nickname. :)
The puppy in my avatar is Newton named for the LW board mascot, Less Newton. Less Newton is a dancing lizard and Less Newton is our mascot because LWs pull less newtons, a measure for gravitational pull or weight.

Well Godzila is NOT because of my body size but rather due to when I had my Ankle Fusion in 2006 that inhad minor complications and every time I had a new cast put on again, the nurse mDe it bigger than the last. It didn't help
That I weighed 104K on my small height of 152cm. My way of coping was to name the damn cast! 199 days in nine different plaster casts!

I've never really grew up with knicknames, but once my youngest child went to kindergarten, I went back to beauty school, and began working in a lively salon where its owner Kate began dubbing me "Kiminey". It was mostly her term of endearment to me, so when she began her battle with uterine cancer it became extra special to me. Kate and I had one big trip together in June, 2004 to a Hair show in Las Vegas. She had never been there and it meant so much to her that I agreed to go with her. Sadly her health continued to deteriorate and she quietly passed away on 9/11/04 to her battle with cancer. 2 1/2 months after that trip. She was 31 years old.
And all these years later, I own my own salon. I gained some valuable lessons from her, so I feel it's a natural tribute to her memory for me. She lived life to its fullest and I have learned a lot from knowing her. So Kate, this walk down memory lane is to you!
