Here's mine.   LW Board is the "yellow submarine". Y'all have a super Friday and smile, babeeees!

Yellow Submarine lyrics
Songwriters: Lennon, John; Mccartney, Paul;

In the town where I was born
Lived a man who sailed to sea
And he told us of his life
In the land of submarines

So we sailed on to the sun
Till we found a sea of green
And we lived beneath the waves
In our yellow submarine

We all live in a yellow submarine
Yellow submarine, yellow submarine
We all live in a yellow submarine
Yellow submarine, yellow submarine

And our friends are all aboard
Many more of them live next door
And the band begins to play

We all live in a yellow submarine
Yellow submarine, yellow submarine
We all live in a yellow submarine
Yellow submarine, yellow submarine

It's been a long days night.

Really that was just last night because I was sick.  Mostly, I agree, Yellow
Submarine works pretty good.

Ok, so honestly I don't know too many Beatles songs.  I was born and raised on Country music so that is mostly all I know.  This post did remind me of a cute story. I have almost always dated older men.  I was on a date in my early 20s and my date asked me if I listened to the Beatles.  I said, "no, didn't they break up a long time ago?". He said, yes but not until 1969.  I said, "well, I was 3".  He took me home!  LOL!  Thanks for a smile this morning!

Mine is "Here Comes The Sun"

Song Title: Here Comes The Sun
Writer(s): LENNON/HARRISON/MCCARTNEY

Here comes the sun (doo doo doo doo)
Here comes the sun, and I say
It's all right

Little darling, it's been a long cold lonely winter
Little darling, it feels like years since it's been here
Here comes the sun
Here comes the sun, and I say
It's all right

Little darling, the smiles returning to the faces
Little darling, it seems like years since it's been here
Here comes the sun
Here comes the sun, and I say
It's all right

Sun, sun, sun, here it comes
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes

Little darling, I feel that ice is slowly melting
Little darling, it seems like years since it's been clear
Here comes the sun
Here comes the sun, and I say
It's all right

Here comes the sun
Here comes the sun, and I say
It's all right
It's all right

I LOVE sunny days but sometimes we need some rain to enjoy the sunshine even more.

My first thought and the lyrics are perfect.

What would you think if I sang out of tune

Would you stand up and walk out on me ?

Lend me your ears and I'll sing you a song

And I'll try not to sing out of key.

Oh I get by with a little help from my (lightweight) friends

Mm I get high with a little help from my friends

Mm gonna try with a little help from my friends

What do I do when my love is away

(Does it worry you to be alone ?)

How do I feel by the end of the day

(Are you sad because you're on your own ?)

No I get by with a little help from my (lightweight) friends

Too many!

As several of us have said, definitely "Help." But also "I Saw Her Standing There," as we get so surprised when someone says we're looking good - and we DO. And then "In My Life," because you guys are the people I will remember who got me through.

Here's one for fun!!

Twist and shout

Well, shake it up, baby, now, (shake it up, baby)
Twist and shout. (twist and shout)
C’mon c’mon, c’mon, c’mon, baby, now, (come on baby)
Come on and work it on out. (work it on out)

Well, work it on out, honey. (work it on out)
You know you look so good. (look so good)
You know you got me goin’, now, (got me goin’)
Just like I knew you would. (like I knew you would)

Well, shake it up, baby, now, (shake it up, baby)
Twist and shout. (twist and shout)
C’mon, c’mon, c’mon, c’mon, baby, now, (come on baby)
Come on and work it on out. (work it on out)

You know you twist your little girl, (twist, little girl)
You know you twist so fine. (twist so fine)
Come on and twist a little closer, now, (twist a little closer)
And let me know that you’re mine. (let me know you’re mine)

Well, shake it, shake it, shake it, baby, now. (shake it up baby)
Well, shake it, shake it, shake it, baby, now. (shake it up baby)
Well, shake it, shake it, shake it, baby, now. (shake it up baby)

We have all shook it up and are twisting and shouting now!!!
