I had my surgery 4/9/12 and have lost some weight. However, I feel like when I get the protein shakes that I am supposed to get in, I don't lose and in fact on day gained! Should I just not worry about this? Did any of you ever feel like the surgery didn't work and you wouldn't lose very much weight? That is how I keep feeling. My clothes feel just as tight and I feel like I look no different yet I eat nothing. I wasn't much of an eater before surgery either. Just made really bad choices. I keep thinking that since I have never been a real over eater that maybe this is just the size of my body! Anyone else ever feel this way??
As long as your are sipping/getting your liquids in/ and walking...you will do fine.
You just had surgery and you are most likely still swollen from all the stuff they pumped in you. And your body is rebelling in that it has gone into starvation mode and holding on to everything, that does pass.
Just keep doing what you are suppose to do...sip/rest/walk.

Hang in there. It will work. Have you lost the 20 pounds since your surgery - because if you have that is great!!
Make sure you get your protein/fluids in everyday. Have you been released to walk or do some light exercise?
If you are weighing each day, it might bother you. Some days you will be down and some will be up. Try not to let it get you upset - if it does you might want to not weigh everyday.
