I'm out of Click. I love Click.

What is your favorite way to make your protein coffee? I've read that many of you have "coffee protein" but what exactly are you using? Click lacks in protein punch, has anyone tried using half a Click and half a scoop of say Sytntrax mocha? I'm up for suggestions.

Thanks,
Mari

I haven't tried Click because I am still 98% decaf.  I like chocolate, chocolate carmel, mint cookie and vanilla with a shot of vanilla cinnamon SF syrup.  Most of the time I just use chocolate but I like to switch it out from time to time.  I was really big on the Nectar cappachina for a while then it got too strong tasting.  I use 1.5 scoops of protein with 1/2 c water and use that to "cream" 2, 36oz decafs every morning.

That's an interesting way to get in your protein. I might try that. Making the protein thick and adding to coffee. Thanks for the idea.

Protein Coffee

1 - 20 oz shaker cup with wire ball
4 to 6 oz of 1/2 & 1/2, water, or milk
1 to 1 1/2 scoops of IDS Vanilla-Cinnamon protein powder
{shake} until blended
Pour into large mug
Add 9 to 10 oz of hot brewed coffee (decaf or reduced caffeine)
{stir}

Add hot liquid to cold liquid to avoid lumps. Keep the protein slurry below 160 degrees.

Other than a different flavor protein, I made this the other day for my second cup of coffee...no lumps and it had the right consistency but I guess I don't care for the flavor of protein in my coffee.

So I will keep drinking mine separate.

I use Max Protein. You can order it on line or get it from GNC.

One scoop protein. I use real sugar if I want sweetener but I'm on maintenance and don't dump, so spoon of sugar and spoon of coffemate. I put that in my 18 oz thermos. Fill it half full of coffee and shake the crude out of it. Then I fill it the rest of the way up. No shaker ball, no immersion blender and no lumps. Also, I like my coffee really hot so not having to blend it with something cool is good for me.

The taste is GREAT! I usually use chocolate but cookies and cream is good with coffee also. I would guess vanilla would also be good but haven't tried that.

I'm 3 1/2 Yeats out and still drink this every morning!

Here is how I mix mine.

I put 1/4 - 1/2 cup of Hood Calorie Countdown Milk in a cup and mix in 1 scoop of Syntrax Nectar Cappaccino Protein.  Stir really well to get all the lumps out.  I also use the IDS Cinnamon-Vanilla Protein.

I have a Keurig and brew a large cup of decaf(I still use decaf) in a 16 - 20 oz travel cup.  Put 1 tsp of splenda in it and after it has brewed I pour the milk/protein mixture into it.  This keeps the protein from having lumps in it.  Sometimes I put some fat free whip cream on it.

Thanks Linda. I drink a lot of coffee since my WLS and often think I drink tom much. I may try sticking to decaf in the afternoons. I haven't had a soda in 3.5 years, don't plan to they still make my poiuch feel funny.

I know what you mean about the sodas.  I have not even tried one since surgery and did not have any about 3 months prior.  I was hooked on them good(Diet Coke) and don't want to go there again!!
