One of my goals was to learn to Zumba and dance my butt off! Well I'm 3 months out and tonight finally went to my first Zumba class. I was so proud of myself, I lasted the whole hour without having to take a break. I sure couldn't have done that 6 months ago. They have 2 classes a week and I plan to make both of them. Of course that is if I can get out of bed tomorrow!
Now I'm looking for a yoga class!

Good for YOU.  I tried Zumba, but those moves are just too complicated for me.  I love Body Pump, but my gym's schedule for it is not fequent enough to fit my needs.  Zumba looked like fun though.  I was the oldest one in the class I'm sure.

That's great that you found an exercise routine that you enjoy.  It will help you keep those muscles toned, and make you feel good!  When I'm at the gym, Zumba looks like so much fun.  I just don't have the knees for it, so I keep to my elliptical and weight training.

Way to go Gwen! I've been wanting to try Zumba forever. We have a lot in common! I really want to dance the weight off and do yoga too. I would love to take some ballroom and latin dancing lesson at some point. I can't get enough of Dancing with the Stars. I just saw that one of the instructors (Louis Vansomething)has a exercise DVD set that I'm thinking of getting. First though, I've got to get healed and walk, walk, walk to build some fitness, than I'll try Zumba and Yoga. We belong to the Y in our neighborhood and have been paying for it but not using it--that's going to change baby!

Glad you found something that you enjoy - that is part of the key to continuing.

I love ZUMBA, but have been working on running since January.  I need to try to get back to it.  So much fun.

Good for you!  I wish I could exercise right now, but I'm on the mends.  I so love Zumba!  I used to do it before surgery and was lucky if I could get past 20 minutes, but it was fun.  Now I have to heal up so I can get back to it.

I love Zumba too!  I just got a groupon for 15 more classes.  I started with yoga and Pilates along with lots of walking, then added Zumba.

Isnt it amazing that we crave being active now?

Good job!
