These vitamins are starting to make me gag....

Even though I sampled vitamins before surgery and bought the ones I though tasted best, I am already literally starting to gag from the taste.
For the multivitamin I am currently using the BA chewable vanilla and also got the chewable berry which is so disgusting that after the first one I decided to return the bottle.
Even less than a week out I am having good sucess with swallowing small pills. Are there any vitamins out there that come in small sizes or can be broken into small sizes and swallowed instead of having to chew or drink them?
I also tried the Celebrate multiples and the new BA drink/crystals for multi vit and they are even more disgusting than what I'm taking....
I also can't stand the BA Sublingal B-12 in cherry or berry I think it is. I think I read somewhere that it can be swallowed. Is that right? If so, I'll just break it in half and swallow it until the peppermint ones that I think taste like altoids arrive.
On the bright side I love the carmel calcium chews, I think they taste like a bit of honey.
Suggestions?

I cannot remember for sure, but I don't think I started my full vitamin routine until a couple of weeks post op. I could be wrong.
I started with Centrum chewable multivitamins, I think Celebrate pink (wintergreen, or something???)calcium chewable meds - cannot remember all the other vitamins brands I started with. I am not sure when I started swallowing my vitamins, but I went back to the Centrum chewables - I just like them the best.
Also, double check on B-12 being swallowed. I believe it needs to be absorbed sublingual so you can get the full absorption of B12.
My tastes were different at first too. At 9+ months out, they are kinda back to normal, but sweet things at times just seem too sweet.
Hang in there - remember the biggest thing right now is fluids!

Were you cutting the chewables in half? I tried cutting them in qtrs today, but then without thinking tried to swallow them all at once and then tried to stop the process mid way--not the best way for sure.
If the peppermint b-12 from BA doesn't work out, I'll try TJ next. Thanks for the tip.

No I didn't cut the chewables. In fact the first couple of weeks I took liquid centrum. It's not the greatest but no worse than medicine. And if u r really struggling, it's like others have said, it won't do u any harm to wait until u can swallow pills that are at least cut in half.
I did find I could take them just fine within a couple of weeks.

I didn't worry about viamins for 4 - 5 weeks. I have a problem swallowing any kind of pill/vitamin so I knew I would have to have a chewable. When I did start trying different ones I didn't like BA or Celebrate. I find the Centrum chewable multivitamins the best and easiest for me. I also agree that you need the sublingual B-12s. I found the brand Spring Valley that are little bity and cherry flavored. Just 3 a day. No big deal for me. :)

I had my vitamins all picked out before surgery too and I was so excited until after surgery and then even the smell of them made me gag. I didn't do very well with flavors for the first year. It is strange how your tastes change.
I was allowed to take a pill if it wasn't any bigger than a good n plenty piece of candy. I love the GNC cherry B-12, I use the BA chocolate chews (don't like the vanilla or carmel), Centrum Calcium Citrate Petites (cut them in half at the beginning), and just a Rite Aid Multi-Vitamin. I buy specialty vitamines like A and D from Vita-lady because they are easily absorbed.
