It is supposed to be beautiful here today and I hope to get out there to walk more than I have been. Gotta do something--weight on the rise still and I don't like it at all.   Ok, that's it...no more pistachios all afternoon and I think I'll cut the diet Pepsi too.

I hope y'all had a great week and you have an even better weekend. Whatcha got going today and the weekend?

I'm so glad its Friday!! It's a light day at work and I hope to leave early enough to get the grocery shopping done.

The weekend is busy as usual. DD is out of town so I have grandma duty for the almost grown grandkids.

I'm with you Gina.  My weight has stabilized, but I still have 5 pounds to lose.  It was hovering around 7 or 8 pounds needed.  I walked yesterday for the second time in 2 weeks...which is not like me.  I am fairly sedentary (I do not drive or work), and I can definitely say when my walking slacks I can see the difference.  As I was walking last night I was telling myself although I enjoy being outside more than anything, I'm going to have to make myself get on my treadmill on days I do not walk outside.  No excuses.

DH is camping with Boy Scouts this weekend, so I'll be Home Alone!  I need to spend a day getting rid of junk, and hopefully there will be a nice day to work in the garden.

Meetings with parents and reports to write at school today, unfortunately a funeral for DH's best friend's wife tomorrow, and then household stuff on Sunday so no skating (Hey Mac - I can do 3-turns this year! I finally learned!!) for me until Monday.

I'm with you guys on the re-energizing the maintenance. I put on 8 pounds, 3 past my limit, and have gotten 4 of them back off. Now to get the last 4 off! Stairs, here I come!

We are getting our grandson later today and will be having him for the next week. He is with us at least 4 days weekly most of the time, so it will be fun having him a little longer.

I just finished my last two "regular" quizzes this morning - so will be preparing for last 3 finals that will be coming in next couple of weeks.

Going to Race for the Cure in the morning, then to dirt track sprint car racing this weekend too! My husband is a photographer at one of the tracks. I hope I do OK eating at the track. Last summer when we went, I mainly lived on "mushy" foods & SF popscicles in the heat. It is supposed to be chilly this weekend though.

Morning Gina,

I'm challenged today. The last two days I was at work with all my foods with me. Today we are going to the Sight and Sound theater in Lancaster PA so I'm probably not going to get a walk in today. Or all my fluids but I did it for a year and a half, I know what to do. I hope everyone has a great day.

I feel so out of touch  I didn't realize you were struggling Gina.  (((HUGS)))  How did DS#2's award ceremony go?

Getting my van inspected today so I had to hitch a ride with DD#1 to work.  It's convenient because she works in the building right beside mine but I hate not having a car. 

Going to pack tomorrow for vacation. I tried on last summers capris and shorts and everything fits so I'm not buying anything new.  I picked up a couple of tops and some sandals already so I'm not planning on shopping for this week.

I'm sooooo glad it's Friday, I want to sleep in tomorrow !!  This probably isn't happening though because my youngest DS has a hair cut appt @ 0830 andy my oldest DS has a soccer game @ 1030.  I guess it will be sleeping in though being I have to get up @ 0400 during the week for work.

Gina, I am sorry you are struggling with a gain...and yeap, DITCH the Diet Pepsi...drink a protein shake or water instead.

I'm still struggling to get all my fluids and protein in as it still hurts my jaw. I did graduate to a regular cup today, altho it got a bit messy...which made me start laundry. I tried a protein coffee this morning, guess I just prefer my coffee without it cause I really didn't care for it. There weren't any lumps, just a funky taste in my coffee. And nothing is wrong with the protein as I have been using it as a regular protein shake. And it tastes fine that way.

As I mentioned, I am doing laundry and I am making bread. I make two loaves at a time, and one goes in the freezer til I am ready for it. Each loaf lasts about 2 weeks with us.
