I hope you don't get sick too. When my kids were little I think I cleaned every surface in my house with bleach! Since I was active duty calling in sick was very difficult so I had to minimize the germs best I could. I don't miss those days at all!
Well we had our super fancy dinner at Burj Al Arab. That is the building Tom Cruise scales down in the new Mission Impossible movie. It was ridiculously expensive. I haven't done the math to convert the money, but I am pretty sure it was in the neighborhood of $200 per person. It was a very elegant buffet. The dessert table was so beautiful I almost teared up knowing I couldn't have it. The service was absolutely incredible. I think they would have fed me if I had let them!
B: scrambled eggs, diluted fresh squeezed pineapple juice, cheese. 18 g
L: beef shawarma (beef, sauce, lettuce, tomato, fresh mint) without the pita bread. 18 g
D: the fancy buffet, 1/2 lobster tail, small bites of lamb 3 different ways, chicken 2 different ways, shrimp 3 different ways, a taste of camel milk dessert. And 1 heavenly taste of a chocolate mousse that would have been worth dumping over! But I refrained. ? Protein. A lot I hope
I don't think I got enough water. Jet lag kicked in and I slept some in the afternoon. I figured out how to mix my protein coffee without curdling the protein. So today I will be good.

I don't worry to much about germs. I rarely get sick or I might be a prioity for me.
I can't imagine paying $200.00 and only being able to eat a child's portion.
Glad you figured out your Protein Coffee!

I paid for the experience not the food LOL. My husband and our friends definitely ate my portion! They pigged out! That place is beyond opulent. My husband was admiring a watch in one of the gift shops in the lobby of the hotel. When he asked the price I thought we would need a defibrillator. $57,000. He decided not to buy it. LOL! Nice to peek at how the other half lives though.
Hi Roz.
I'll cut and paste this into today's M&M thread, but wanted to get started when I had spare time, I'm at work. I'm really really struggling to know what to eat. I'm so mixed up and confused. But I'm going to try and get back on track looking at what you all post. I'm living my worst nightmare.

Linda, thanks. I'm amazed at how little each of you eat and how many protein drinks are being consumed. I guess I need to up the protein and dump everything else. I'm just tired, so tired of protein drinks.
I need to come back here every day like I used to. If you see me here it is a good thing, please talk to me, I need some serious help to undo the damamge I have done. But I know I can do it.

Mari, I'm sorry you are tired of protein drinks. I love the taste of mine and really enjoy them every day. I like to use them because it lets me eat things like salad which I love and I don't have to worry about protein as much. I do mostly eat protein first at my meals.
I eat small meals all during the day along with the protein drinks I feel like I'm eating/drinking all the time which helps me with my snacking.
Do you not like the protein drinks or are you just tired of them?
You can do this!!

Linda,
I was faithful to my protien drinks the first 2 years. I liked them. But when I started eating more solid food I felt that I was adding too many calories to my daily intake. Also, just tired of sweet. Maybe I should try the Unjury chicken soup again. Then recently I tried doing green smoothies. Adding my Sytrax protein poweder to greens/veggies and a litle fruit. But I gained a couple pounds so nixed those.
