Menus and Miles Tuesday April 17th

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER!
Grandson had the flu all night. At 3 am DD got me out of bed to feed the baby so she could help clean up the mess the oldest one made. I sure hope DH and I don't get the flu!
I've been on Maintenance for 2 1/2 years and doing great!!!

We have our last board meeting of the month today - yeah!! I need to go visit at the manor during lunch today so it will be a long lunch...

Water/Fluids: 120 ozs
Miles: 2.93 mile run
I need to be better about getting back on line at night and correcting my meals - I tend to eat too many snacks at night and I'm better about not doing it if I have to write it down!!

I don't know how you find time do all of those board meetings, plays, running, and grandchildren. You are a very busy lady! I bet it's easier though since you lost your extra weight.
I'm with you when it comes to updating my menus! I try to do the next day but by then I forget those little extra bites that go into my mouth.

Drove Chili this morning. It is very nice now but we are expecting rain. I have PT this afternoon then home to keep making preparations for the weekend. I have 2 days of driving clinic on Thurs and Fri, the the Steeplechase Parade on Sat and another clinic on Sunday. The Clinician is staying here on Wed night. She is a pretty new sleever and I'm going to make Linda's pizza chips for supper and to take for lunchs for us. We are staying with a friend in SC for the clinic and I need to make a crustless ham quiche to take for breakfast too. Got to get to the store so I have everything.

Well....my day did not quite start the day it usually does, but it is still a salvageable day. I woke extremely early and misread the clock. By the time I ate I was really hungry, but it was still very early...4:15 am.
1:00 am: protein shake
4:15 am: bowl of grape nuts with soy milk & a spoon of honey (I can count on 1 hand the no of times I eat cereal in a calendar year).

I'm with you on the cereal. I do eat oatmeal about once a month but I just can't bring myself to eat cereal.

Got put on call, so I've been home doing laundry and cleaning a little. Also catching up on DVR while the kids are at school :)
