Hello to all of our Lightweights!!! If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!! Besides my tool, I count Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER!

Happy Sunday! On our way to church and then off to DGD#3 first soccer game which should make a fun afternoon. I'm hoping DH will run me down to Pittsburgh to the mall because I need a couple pairs of sandles for vacation. I'm really hoping he will just go home with SIL and then I can take my time....LOL

Nothing Planned for eats today....I'll just try to make good choices!

Hi Roz,
I'd be hoping DH would go on home and let me shop by myself.  He is always in a hurry if I take him with me!!  Hope you find something.  I've been looking for sandles for a couple of weeks and just hate paying that much money for them...

I am going to a wedding shower this afternoon then I need to finish clothes and cook for next week since I didn't do either yesterday.

Linda-what is microwave cheesecake?  I always love looking @ your menus :)

This AM we went to church, it was a wonderful service !  The pastor is doing a series on the life of Joseph.  Then we came home and did some much needed cleaning.  I cooked my first crock pot pot roast :)  It turned out well.

B-sausage, eggs, and cheese burrito minus the tortilla
S-pure protein bar
L-pot roast with a little whole grain rice and green beans
S-protein shake
D-egg salad with mayo and greek yogurt and 1/2 arnold whole wheat thin bread
S-pistachios
 
Water, Water, Water
Some vits done, have to do the evening batch :)

Mandy,
Yaseem posted about it earlier this week.  I substitued a few things like splenda for sugar and I used Greek Yogurt instead of sour cream like she suggested.  It was really better the second day, but I had a hard time waiting to let it cool good to try it.  You might want to start on it atleast 3-4 hours before you want to eat it!!

I love trying different things.  I have found so many things that I love to eat now, that I never ate before WLS.  I usually cook on the weekend so I don't have to worry about it during the week and I can grab and go.

I was up early and out the door to go to a horse show practice day with Chili and bring him home from the trainers.  He was excellant and I had a great time.  The weather was perfect.  I love spring.  My only problem was that my lemon tea spilled in the truck and I only got about 2/3 of it.

Hope everyone is having a great Sunday! I worked, but it was a nice day.

B: Syntrax chocolate truffle & milk
S: yogurt, berries & grape nuts
L: Cedarlane burrito (about 3/4 of it)
S: 2 mini krackle bars
D: chicken about 2 oz, along with green beans
S: Syntrax tea 2 scoops for day
S: not sure for rest of night

totals 1,074 calories 99 carb 26 fat 113 protein 10 fiber
